You know how you can tell when someone doesn't want you somewhere? I don’t know who the older lady was that "Greeted" us but I could tell from the jump that she didn’t want us there. She was short with us. When my cousin asked a question about something on the menu she impatiently pointed to the menu saying "It’s right there" I let it slide because it wasn’t a big deal. We were having a nice time eating and having a conversation. When we finished our food she came and took our plates and gave us the check. We decided to stay there for a little bit longer, still eating chips and salsa. My cousin kept getting uncomfortable, he actually stood up once and said "We should go she keeps looking over crazy like it’s time for us to go" I told him to have a seat, because there were multiple people there before us that were still there just sitting and conversing. I’m assuming they were regulars. We stayed longer until I was ready to go, seeing that I took the time to drive there. He finally got to the point where he said, "Yea it’s time we should leave" and that made me mad because no one should feel rushed out of a restaurant, especially when it’s not even packed with customers. I didn’t want to tip because of the way she made my cousin feel but I decided to anyway and he also threw in some money. I took the check to the front, she lowkey snatched the card from me when I was giving it to her which prompted me to turn to my cousin and say "I should take the tip back, because why would I reward such disrespectful behavior" but I just took my card back and said "Thank you” and we left. As far as the food I had the Birria Tacos (3) they were pretty good. It came with a side of Cilantro, Onions...

I spent $51 dollars on a take out order ( 18 ) tacos in total. Received only 5 salsas I went back in to ask for more and was rudely told that she put them in a bag... I wouldn’t be asking for more if I have them already. So she gave me an attitude when I asked for more and then she told me they’re not free ( which is a joke. Who charges $1 per salsa ) so I said that’s fine because I’m not going to argue over this. She handed me 4 extras and I gave her $5 dollars as this would be the last time I or any of my coworkers will be ordering from here. Delavan has well over 5 Mexican restaurants and to be treated like this after a large order is disrespectful. I wish words can picture how unprofessional the hostess was. Being Hispanic I wish others wouldn’t...

We have eaten in, picked up and door dashed from here quite a bit this past year and it has usually been pretty good. Tonight was just terrible. I ordered a chicken taco salad, got steak, no beans, no tomatoes. The steak was disgusting..picked a lot of it out of my mouth. Gristle and fat. My husband had the steak enchiladas. Same thing..gross meat. I didn't even finish mine and when the waitress came over and said "all good", I said no not this time😪. She said "oh ok". I wasn't looking for it to come off the bill...and it sure didn't. No apologies no nothing and charged us in full. Just ignored us after that so we left. They had their money so what did they care. It's too bad but we are going to have to try a different place for Mexican food...
