Mother's day dinner? No problem at Harpoon Hannah's (OK, we did go a little early for dinner, 4ish). NO wait for inside seating, short wait for outdoor seating. Party of 4 (4 tops are a bit small, so if you need extra space, make sure you ask) with shared appetizer, a couple of (very good) drinks each, entree, and dessert ran about $240 not including tip. As others have said, the bread/baked goods complimentary basket is stellar. The house salad presentation is unique, all the regular ingredients but chopped small and easy to eat. It's big enough that if you like salad dressing, you should probably ask for extra. Stuffed chicken was great, likewise the bourbon salmon, lobster tails were plentiful (3) and delicious, and the fillet (done just right) were our entrees. Furkan was our server and was the perfect mix of attentive without being intrusive. Everything was just right. Obviously a nautical theme inside and out with views of the water from everywhere. It can get busy and a bit loud, but that's really just part of the charm as it's never inundating. I don't know that it's possible to leave without being totally full, but I don't really want to try that anyway.

Little disappointed last night upon waiting for a table for 4. It was about 5 pm. I understand it was a busy weekend to eat out because of Valentine's Day. Business was quite brisk. This also was not our 1st visit; we have been numerous times over the past 10 years, or so. I most enjoy the deck seating when it is in season. The view alone is a winner!! Anyway, 2 of our party were there inside before 5, and 2 arrived a short time later, and upon arrival, at 5:10, after my husband waited already, he was then given a buzzer, so there was more wait time. A group of patrons passed us, as we waited along the left wall, they were going to the dining room being sat by a server who asked the one lady in the group, "Do you want to be sat now?" Meaning others were still needing to arrive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the seating work the same for all patrons? Maybe the others had a reservation? ----- I don't know if those are accepted. I don't see that after doing a quick website search. My apology then, if so. The last comment I want to share is the hostess, who was wearing a red and black flannel shirt, that sat us, who had no experience with communication skills. We would've been just fine if she pointed out our table and didn't see us to it! Service was v-e-r-y slow to begin. It was like 9 minutes we sat without even an acknowledgement. Things did get better, finally, our server greeted us with the standard basket of muffins and sliced raisin bread. All in all, there were no food complaints, just the seating and lack of communication during seating, so that is the reason for 3 out of 5 stars. For an award winning restaurant and being named a top 100 restaurant, at one time in the hospitality industry, that level of care should be shown to each and every customer. I'm showing our entree choices with pictures, so you know we truly did dine there last night. For starters, we ordered the crab pizza. It came with a side of (shake) seafood seasoning. Food included seafood linguine and broiled scallops, sides of mac n cheese and caesar salad, garden salad and a wedge. The garden salad was primarily lettuce, unfortunately, pretty bland. Those who had the others were quite pleased. Our main meals were tasty. Definitely a filling meal for the 4 of us. We had leftovers to bring home.

trying to rack my brain for a dining experience worse than this and can’t come up with anything :/. we ordered seafood medleys, steaks, stuffed chicken, and a few apps. bang bang shrimp and boneless wings were pretty good, pretzel portion of the crab pretzel was bland but the crab dip wasn’t terrible. bacon wrapped scallops i wouldn’t say were awful but not great. the bacon seemed almost raw. as our entrees were coming out, our server nonchalantly let us know the baked potatoes would be another 15 min. not gonna lie, the entrees were inedible. the 3 of us who had seafood medleys couldn’t eat it. the shrimp, scallops, and lobster tail were all over cooked, rubbery, flavorless, and somehow still cold. the server never asked how the meal was, and when she noticed that the 3 seafood medleys were untouched she didn’t ask if there was something wrong or if there was something that could be done to make the meal better. we are a family of restaurant workers (front and back of house) and are always understanding and considerate that the food being bad isn’t the servers fault. but it is on her that there was no effort to rectify the situation. potatoes never came out but the entire table didn’t order baked potatoes. we reminded the server we were missing mac n cheese but she never brought that either. we asked if we could be comped for the price of the sides that were never brought out. so $9 off a $250 ticket of food that we couldn’t eat. if this was my table i’d have been doing everything i could to make sure they didn’t leave unhappy. i know people have bad days and fourth of july weekend is super hectic and everyone is short staffed but this was just all around a bad time. the scallops left a weird chemically taste that’s still lingering an hour or so after we left. the muffins were great maybe they should just do muffins and breakfast breads from here on out.

We ordered the prime rib medium and it came out raw. Ordered plain crab because of a soy allergy; asked them if it contained anything other than crab meat and the waitress confidently told us that all that was served with the crab meat was butter. I asked her this twice. Twice she confirmed this was the case. After eating the crab and feeling an allergic reaction (I literally had hives), I discovered that it was soaking in soy oil. She nonchalantly said it was just mayonnaise, but, along with her manager—who couldnt even be bothered to come talk to us about this potentially deadly mishap—didn’t seem to realize that mayonnaise is like 90% soybean oil. I sent everything back and requested to talk to the manager to help raise awareness about food allergies and give him the chance to make it right. He didn’t come out and the waitress kept shunning us. We refused to pay for the under-cooked prime rib and soy oil-filled crab and she rudely grabbed it from our table saying: “Well we can’t leave this here then” and left. Well okay, thanks for wasting our night with your poorly prepared food, lack of customer service and sheer apathy in regard to food allergies! I won’t be back here and I’ll be spreading the word to my friends and family in the area, as well as the whole food allergy community… This isn’t a place for quality food and service. The poor service and low quality food is masked by booze and barrels of Hallmann’s mayonnaise. You wouldn’t think it with the prices they charge.
