On Monday, May 29, 2023 we purchased 2 backless counter stools. The 2 stools were to be delivered from the warehouse to the store for our pick up. On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, we were notified by phone that the box containing the 2 stools had arrived at the store for our pick up. My husband drove to the store to pick up the single box containing the 2 unassembled stools. He asked, at the store, if there were, in fact, 2 stools in the single box. He was reassured that there were 2 in the box, and even noted (as it was pointed out, written on the single box the number 2 by the sales associate). Unfortunately, my husband trusted the sales associate, and he chose NOT to open the box at the store to verify that there were, in fact, 2 unassembled stools in this single box. Upon arriving home, we opened the box to find a SINGLE unassembled stool, not 2 as printed on the box, as well as, stated by the sales associate. My husband returned the box to the store the same day with the single bar stool enclosed in it's original packing, anticipating that we would be given another box with 2 stools in exchange. When asked if we could pick up another box at the warehouse, the sales associate wrote on our sales receipt, "Picking up in Milford, JFM". While my husband was en route home from the store, I received a phone call from the sales associate. He told me that he had called the warehouse supervisor after my husband had retuned the original box containing the single bar stool, and that the supervisor had said that this had never happened before; that all the boxes of this particular stool contained 2 stools in each box. In short, the associate and the supervisor had decided that we had opened the box at home, removed one of the two unassembled stools, kept it and returned the other to the store. In essence, we were being accused of lying and theft! At this point, I told the sales associate to refund our money, put a credit on our credit card and forget the sale. Because this was an "all sales final" transaction, I was told that he could not do it. After many minutes more of a very unpleasant phone conversation, the sales associate agreed to credit us for the purchase price of the 2 backless stools. Suffice it to say, we will NEVER patronize this business (or any of it's affiliates) again. I had looked around at so many furniture stores but couldn’t find anything I was truly in love with to get the look we were looking for. We walked into Furniture & More just by chance as we were returning our U-Haul to their location.
When we walked into the store, we immediately fell in love with the Dining Room Set which was near the entrance. It turns out we fell in love with EVERYTHING in their store! They have THE BEST customer service ever! I highly recommend Ginger if you go there, she was freaking AMAZING, and worked with us for close to a year before we were done not only purchasing all our furniture, but pictures for our walls too.
Everyone there was so helpful, and we were able to get everything delivered and assembled…this was a Big Plus as my husband and I are disabled and unable to handle some of the bigger pieces of furniture.
I have family who also got their furniture for their Condo in Ocean City from Furniture & More when they redecorated. My Aunt said she originally furnished it from Furniture & More so she knew exactly...

Received a call from the salesperson named Chris that she made a mistake that the price on the tag was incorrect and the sleeper woul be $300.00 extra. Chris did not offer to work with me and gladly refunded my money once we came in person. I found out from a neighbor that she and her husband purchased a sofa and loveseat that arrived in a different color and a buffet with a crack in it. A person came to see if the furniture could be repaired, but it needed to be replaced. My neighbor is still waiting for her buffet and correct sofa material since memorial day.....almost 3 months.
