Our facility strictly adheres to the guidelines set by the Technical Standards & Safety Authority of Ontario, which explicitly limits the number of participants for safety reasons. This is non-negotiable and applies to everyone, regardless of who they think they are or pretend to be.

During your visit, it was made abundantly clear that your demands were in direct violation of these safety regulations. We do not bend these rules, certainly not under pressure from individuals showcasing a sense of entitlement and ego. Our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance overshadows any individual’s demands, no matter how “royal” they perceive themselves to be.

When I went to the James Street tavern I found the service to be terrible. The 2 female bartenders completely ignored myself and my friend when we were trying to order drinks. We tried repeatedly to get the attention of either one of the bartenders, raising our voices and eventually knocking on the bar repeatedly until one of the bartenders made eye contact with us but didn't say a word to us! After 5+ min of trying to order drinks we gave up vowing to never return there. Never in my life have I experienced such disrespect and disregard at a bar when all I was doing was politely trying to order a beer!!! I live 5 min away walking distance and was hopeful that this could be my new bar but I was so disgusted with the lack of service I will never return there!! And I intend to tell all my friends not to patronize...

Do NOT go to James Street Tavern. Had an absolutely terrible experience with the bartender Johnny last weekend. My boyfriend and I were looking forward to playing some pool and chill after a long week & that was quickly ruined when Johnny SHOVED my boyfriend out of the doors. Completely unprovoked. This is disgusting behavior and multiple people on the deck witnessed the encounter. I have confirmed with multiple people that this isn’t the first time that Johnny has done this to patrons.
