Parking was easy, they have some spots around the building. This is a small bakery, with an extensive torta selection, and other Mexican delights to choose from. I ordered take out since I was still at work this evening. It was nice because all of my co workers shared the different selections of tortas. We asked for the order to be ready at 6:20, we called about a hour ahead. Everything was ready at pick up time. From the phone to in the store, the service was polite and accommodating the entire way. The baked good looked amazing!!!
I didn't order a drink, but they did have drink options in the store.
We ordered 4 different tortas: La Guerrero, Nortena, La Clasica, and Hawaiana. The bread was warm, soft, fluffy, and didn't get pressed like some do. I could eat any sandwich with this bread. Fresh and delicious!!! La Guerrero...beans, steak, vinegar-peppers, onion, red home made guajillo sauce, and cheese. Tasted like a cheese steak to me, on softer bread. The steak was seasoned well. Nortena...refried beans, salted beef, grilled onions, avocado, home made guajillo sauce, and cheese. Pretty much the same feeling as the Guerrero! The Nortena wasn't chopped up the same way. Only real difference I could see. La Clasica...Mayo, breaded chicken, tomato, avocado, onions, and vinegar-peppers. This classic, you really can't go wrong with. To me though, these were all good but not great. Hawaiana...Mayo, ham, pineapple, avocado, onions, vinegar-peppers, and cheese. This was probably my favorite of the four. The flavors just go so well together. Each sandwich came with some fried potato rounds. They were good, but cold because of the travel. I'm sure they're even better fresh.
We tried the pico de gallo. This was a smash hit! Everything was nice and fresh. They added some jalapenos in there for some kick.
I ordered tacos, choosing carnitas, salted beef, and chorizo. Carnitas...ok, a little on the dry side, yet flavorful. Salted beef...excellent, moist, on good tortillas. Easily my fav of the 3. Chorizo...really good flavor, nice char,...

Read moreStopped in yesterday for pan de muerto, I have zero negative comments about it. The bread was perfectly delicious. I decided to get some for work, I asked if they could put em in the clear cake tray, and she made it clear it would be an extra $3. I said ok, it makes sense.. I also asked if they would put a sticker with the bakerys' name on it, I work with white people and wanted to make sure they knew where it came from. I paid for my order and walked away. I got home, checked my receipt, and realized I was charged $1 for that sticker. I would have never imagined one day I would pay to promote someone else's business. It is what it is, I guess. I'll take it as...
