The food was good. We ordered a plain egg salad sandwich and a roast beef club. Nothing extraordinary. There were 3 tables seated in the whole place. It took half an hour to get 2 sandwiches. Ummmm, why??? If you're in a hurry, I'm not sure this is the place to go.
Response to the owner - it was just this past Saturday, November 9th. We got there at 2:22 and left at 3:37 according to my timeline chart. I have never taken that long to eat an egg salad sandwich. Again, it was really good. My husband liked the roast beef club, lots of roast beef. It just seemed like half an hour for 2 sandwiches was a wait, when it was not crowded. Newport Family Restaurant Is a great lace to eat .. Really Really good food . Everything they make is homemade and always fresh.. I have been eating her off and on for about 10 years . And not once did I ever had to complain about anything.. And I mean anything.. The waitress and everyone that works there are great and very nice .. I look at it this way . If you come in acting like an ass ...Then you will be treated like an ass and will be ask to get out .. Just remember. ..They didn't piss in your cheerio's so don't come in acting like it's there fault you are having a bad day.. They are the best people you will ever meet. $14.95 for two scrapple, egg and cheese bagels!!!!!!!! Your making it impossible to support small business when you can go to wawa and buy 2 breakfast bagels with meat and cheese two for $4.00!!!! Price on the menu is showing $4 95 when I asked how they arrived at the price they said $1.00 for the bagel and $1.00 for the cheese. I ordered my egg on the side because I'm allergic but I'm paying for it anyway. When they added up the price it still didn't equal two for $14.95 the price but they made no price adjustment.
