Paisano's Pizza — Restaurant in Delaware

I ordered a large pizza topped with eggplant parmigiana and was excited that I finally found a pizza place that offered it in Delaware after having it at Joe’s Pizza in Philly. As I was carrying the pizza to car, I noticed that the box felt very light. I opened the box and the topping on the pizza looked like some strange dried out type of mushrooms. It turned out to be dried out slices of eggplant. I went back into the store to tell them and the owner told me I had “to ASK for eggplant parmigiana”. Ummm - That’s what I asked for. After going back and forth I realized he had no idea what eggplant parmigiana was. Finally, he offered to make me a new one. I sat in my car with my friend and waited. While I was waiting, one of the workers kept coming to the window to look out at me. I went back in and they gave me a “fresh” pizza which was the dried out original pizza with a couple of blobs of ricotta. If you don’t know anything about Italian cuisine, don’t offer it on the menu and then try to argue with the customer about it. I hate to say this but a lot of pizza shops these days are owned by Mexicans who I know to be good hard-working people, but stick to the basic pizza, subs and steaks and TACOS. The thing is that years ago there was an Italian family who owned Paisano’s on Route 13 in Wilmington Manor, and I assumed this was their new location especially when I saw all of the Italian dishes on their menu. ...

Just moved into the area and was looking for a good pasta place. So I decided to give this business a chance. I ordered the chicken parm with sausage special, cheese pizza and wings special, and shrimp fra diablo.

Detaield in the photos the pizza crust was burned underneath. I attempted to eat it still but the charred flavor was too intense, bread knots...also burned. The salad was old.

Additionally, the chicken parm was overcooked, the noodles were overcooked, the shrimp in the fra diablo tasted fishy instead of fresh. The chicken wings didn't have a pleasant taste, almost as if the chicken was stale.

I essentially paid money to throw out the food.

Contacted the establishment to register my complaints requesting to speak with a manager/supervisor. I was informed by the manager Mario that I asked for well done (I asked for the wings to be crispy...which they were not) and usually thin crust pizza cooks faster. He had also looked at all the food and found it satisfactory before I picked up my order. He extended a credit for the medium pizza and told me that I should've registered my complaint sooner.

I do not want a credit and will not be coming back. I attempted to reverse my experience by at least getting a partial refund since the food was inedible.

I ordered two medium pizza special online with wings, along with a soda. When the food arrived, the driver handed me a soda and said that they did not have the type of soda I ordered. I can live with that so I accept, but when I opened up my pizzas and saw that there was one incorrect pizza completely....I called and spoke to a child! He starts to translate for whomever is answering in the background, he could not answer my questions properly so he hands the phone over to an older man. He gets on the phone and tells me that realizes that the pizza is incorrect and that I could get a $5 credit on my account....I spent $40.99 on delivery and this is what you offer me? I go into the store the next day and when I asked for a manager, the man who is at the counter says they are not there....but I realize is the one who answered the phone last night. Long story short, they do NOT get your order right, they have children in the store working and where the food is being cooked! They could care less about making sure you get good customer service. I will NEVER eat from here again, they lost a good customer that was willing to overlook the...
