EL PIQUE - Newcastle — Restaurant in Delaware

I’ve been to El Pique a few times maybe 5-6 I get the same thing basically the lamb consommé and a lamb(barbacoa) burrito…today I got the same plus a diablo pollo (chicken) burrito…Bella Mar got the torta…and taquitos let’s go down the list of problems….

They spelled torta…. “Torto” 🚩 They forgot her taquitos totally 🚩 Everything except the consommé was cold 🚩 The consommé had little to no meat or chickpeas like it was the end of the day and I got what was left 🚩 The barbacoa burrito was all rice and cheese and maybe 1/2 an ounce of meat 🚩 (also cold)🚩 French fried cold as ice 🚩

I had to apologize to her cause I’ve never ever had an experience like this at El Pique (it was the one in New Castle and I always go here it was just...

This was a pleasant surprise. The tacos were absolutely phenomenal. They also gave us a sample of their lamb stew which was super tasty. They have a large number of different meat flavors, and various spice levels. The pricing was also very good and there is a parking lot. We would absolutely come back again and will.

It was nice to stop back after a long time, but unfortunately when I come by here they are usually closed. They are pretty much open just for lunch hours. The tacos are still good and they rearranged their dining room...

My husband took me and y kids to El Pique in New Castle after one of his soccer games. The place was really clean, the service was great, and the food was simply amazing. My girls asked for burritos, and tacos, but I had a torta (Mexican sandwich) and everything was simply delicious!. We went back 2 weeks after and we knew what we wanted to order. Everything it’s really good and tasty, the coconut water and the horchata water (rice water) was also very delicious, this has become our favorite place...
