OK. First let me say that the food was ready quickly and was hot when I picked it up. I received an advertising e-mail for the new Stuffed Garlic Crust pizza. It sounded good. So I went to the app and attempted to place an order for pickup tomorrow as it was past 11:30 PM. I added some boneless chicken bites in two flavors and one of their Crustless pizza dishes to the order. After entering my credit card information It told me my order would be ready in 15 minutes, rather than giving me the option to pick the order up at a later date. ( No confirm order / submit order step) I looked through the app to see if I could cancel the order and but there was no option. So within 70 seconds of placing the order I called the store and was immediately placed on hold, after 5 minutes of waiting on hold, I was hung up on. By the time I got back to the app after the phone call My order was already baking. So At 10 past midnight, I drove to the store, picked up my order and came home. Because I was interested to see how the garlic stuffed crust Pizza was going to be, I had a bite and upon opening the box, the crust looked nothing like what was advertised. So that was a little disappointing. It was a regular stuff crust pizza with absolutely no garlic drizzle, no garlic crust, and no garlic in the cheese inside the crust. The boneless chicken wings were also a let down, The spicy chicken flavor was basically sauce drizzled on top of what I would consider cheap chicken Nuggets -Overly breaded and very little meat. They were relatively dry and not tossed in sauce. The Garlic Parmesan flavored Chicken wings Were unsauced chicken Nuggets with a container of their normal buttery garlic sauce. The crustless pizza entree was pretty good. So three stars for that. Overall, the customer service was pretty good at the store, but the food preparation was a let down and the fact that you can't cancel an order or amend an order in the app was also disappointing. And the fact that I waited on hold for 5 minutes and was then hung up on was also troublsome. Needless to say, it'll be a while before I order from Papa...

Order was delivered, well rather said it was i did not have my order at my door or my direct neighbors. Called and was transferred back and forth between the manager and my driver about 3 times. After a tireless discussion of reviewing my address 5 times i was told my order was being remade and the driver would call me when here. 10 minutes later the manager calls me back and asks if a all pepperoni pizza is ok (i ordered a half pepperoni half plain) because they accidentally made it all pepperoni and it would take an extra 10 minutes for my order. I said all pepperoni was fine. Delivery driver calls asking where the delivery needs to be made we re go over the address info and i was asked if alls i got was a large pizza. I said no the large pizza and a 2 liter starry. I was told it was going to be an extra 6 minutes because he had to leave my address to go back to the store to grab the soda.
I dont usually if ever complain as someone who has been a food and customer service worker my whole 11 years of having jobs, but this entire ordeal took 2 hours from placing my order to receiving it, and though i had agreed that the all pepperoni was fine it still wasnt what i originally ordered and that in and of itself is frustrating.
Im not recommending boycotting this papajohns but obviously the new ownership/management change over so far has not been a good decision. Id highly advise to give them about a month or two to get themselves together and in a functioning routine before considering eating here again because right now what they are doing is clearly...

Tried for 30min calling but could never get a person, began clicking all the prompts until I got someone clearly from a far-away call center and not my local store. They couldn't help, forwarded me the local store who didn't pick up. Finally got someone at the store itself who said it'd been sitting on the warmer for the 45min and just no one ever delivered it. Tried blaming DoorDash even though we ordered directly through them, and even if DoorDash is outsourced and was late they should have followed-up and rectified in real time seeing orders sitting forever on their shelf. They told me to come get it myself, which I couldn't do and is ridiculous considering I already paid extra for delivery, plus fees, plus tip. They asked ME to call THEM back later for an update. After calling back again they said a drive just came and they'd send it out. Some time later if finally came - burnt from the start and soggy from sitting. No apology from driver, no fresh food despite it having sat for 45 min there, no extra food or discount for my troubles. We will NEVER order from Papa Johns again. Disappointed by the automation (a call center? to place a pizza order? come on) and the terrible customer service of the local store itself. I don't expect white glove service from a place like PapaJohns, but a little common sense, common decency, and ability to speak to a human and in my own country let alone zip code would be pretty helpful.
