(A word of caution for the women before purchasing from this particular store! ) The owner/manager at this place is very rude. I placed my order yesterday through slice. My daughter arrived at the store to pick up my order. The owner/ manager tells her she needs to pay for the food. So my daughter assumes the order must not have processed. She hands the owner/ manager my card and he proceeded to swipe my card several times resulting in one pending charge from slice and two pending charges from pats. Then he proceeded to tell my daughter there's no money on this card. So my daughter being confused calls me and I tell her that's a credit card not a debit card and to let me speak to the owner. The owner yells what you don't understand Spanish! Mind you he is speaking English and so am I. I instructed my daughter to leave the store. The owner/ manager jumps in his vehicle and proceeds to follow my daughter back to our development. By this time I am on my way to the store to situate the excessive amount of charges and return the food. I arrive at the store and the owner/ manager wants to continue to yell. I don't understand what you don't understand Spanish! I picked up the phone to contact the police, my credit card company or whoever to see what can be done and the owner/manager says call whoever you want I'm not giving you no money back by the end of the situation my family members arrived after becoming curious to what was taking so long and that was when the owner/ manager became super helpful and finally voided out the transactions. Read moreI returned back to this establishment after having a delicious chicken sandwich yesterday. Yesterday, a young man took my order. While waiting for my order yesterday, a man (who took another customers order) confused two dark skin men and said 'oh no you're a different one' to a new dark skinned customer that had just walked in. Me and the first dark skinned man looked at each other and kinda chuckled. Just cause it was a weird thing to say out loud (and to hear). But, I got my food and went on about my business. Today, I go in and the man (who could be the manager or owner) took my order. Needing to unlock my card, he makes several comments about Apple pay making that feature for "y'all" "cause no white ppl come in here and have to do that. They swipe and go." Huh?? Still figuring my phone out, while he's still spewing words. I ask, "how many white ppl come in here apposed to blk ppl?" Him, "maybe 8%" Me, "OK. So more blk ppl spend money here than white? And Apple makes the feature for only blk folks huh?" "I'll take my card back thanks!" My daughter has asked me numerous times not to spend my money there. And I never asked why. I just didn't. Got my order, NO MEATBALLS, and NO SALAD. Called the store to speak with a manager, who kept cutting me off while I was explaining what happened. He said meatballs are extra, and don't come with the pasta (Never heard of this), either way I still wanted them. They could have called me to let me know its separate, and inquire if I still wanted them instead of completely omitting them from my order. The salad issue??
