Poor customer service! I went to buy a tres leches cake today (December 13, 2020) at this place because I bought a cake a year or two ago for a birthday. I called ahead of time to see if they had the tres leches cake. A lady answered and told me they had a cake and so I asked for a price and she said hold on for a second. I waited for her response for about 5-7 min. While I waited for her to get back to me about the price it sounded like she might have been busy. So I decided to hang up and just go. I went to buy the cake at the bakery. They closed that front entrance where I went to get the cake the last time but there was a sign to use the other door. I walked in, I thought I was in the wrong place but there was someone there and I asked if this was the entrance and they said yes. I walked in confused because I didn't know where I was supposed to go or where you go to order. There was no signs indicating any guidance. There was a guy over there that had gloves on so I assume he worked there. All he did was stand and didn't say anything to let me know if I was walking in the right place to order. I'm saying this because when I walked inside I started to walk on a different section and the lady that had answered the phone earlier was there and with a rude tone said and pointed where I was supposed to be. I apologized, and then I went where she told me. Then I realized that there is a line and someone paying so when I went up there I made sure that where I was at is where I order. Once I confirmed I asked if they had a tres leches cake to the lady since she is the one who was upfront. She said "no, until 4:30" but with a rude attitude. So I just said "ok" and turned around to leave because her attitude made me mad and there was no need for her to give me attitude like that. I was and am not mad because I had to wait until 4:30 to buy a cake but because of her nasty rude attitude. One more thing, the place wasn't even busy for her to be rude like that! So I have decided I will NEVER EVER buy a cake from them again and I will NEVER EVER recommend anyone there again. They just lost themselves a customer and any future customers I would have...

I’ve been ordering from this bakery for years. Today was my last straw. The cakes are delicious I’ll give you that, but the service I always receive is horrible. The first time I used them my order wasn’t ready even though I got there an hour past when I scheduled it for. Okay, we let it go, even when they weren’t sympathetic about it. Today I picked up a cake that I ordered yesterday. Got there 30 minutes past the due time and it wasn’t ready, didn’t have any lettering. Let them finish it up just to end up with a tiny circle trying to fit “Feliz cumpleaños”. You could only read “feliz” the rest looked like a squiggly line. I told the front staff I wasn’t happy with the lettering. Guess the response. “Okay so you want me to fix it? It’s still going to look the same I only have one type of letter.” At this point I’m confused and tell her, “you are the bakery I chose your service because you are the professional in this.” I was asked whether I was going to purchase it or not and whether I wanted them to redo it but it would look the same. EVERY TIME NO SYMPATHY for their mistakes. $40 for a cake that you can’t even read what it says? Okay keep my money. I will never be back and my family whose been loyal to this establishment for years is not coming back....

Went here yesterday 2/11/21 to pick up a cake. Purchased a pan de queso (bread with cheese) sign price said 2.50 owner rung it up at 3.00, after I told her sign said 2.50, another customer showed it to her and her employee also stated its 2.50. She said it was 3.00 rung it up as 3.00 and became very aggressive and rude. If it wasn't that I needed the cake, I would have left it all there. I wonder how many people on a daily she overcharges or makes up her own prices. I know a lot of people don't pay attention to prices, when they get rung up but that doesn't mean take advantage of people. It's sad this being an hispanic bakery they would take advantage of people like this and not care. I for one, will not return, .50 is not the issue but the integrity, and honesty of the store...
