Stopping at The Original Fractured Prune for donuts was one of the highlights of my recent trip. What sets this spot apart is not just their donuts, but the creative flair they bring to both their menu and the experience itself.
The selection of donuts is truly impressiveânot only do they offer a wide variety of unique flavors, but each donut has a fun, quirky name that adds to the experience before youâve even had your first bite. Whether youâre in the mood for something classic or want to try a daring flavor combination, thereâs something for everyone. Itâs clear the menu is crafted to inspire curiosity and delight.
Although we did have to wait a little while for our order, the anticipation only made the treats taste better. The donuts are made fresh to order, which definitely justifies the short wait. You can watch as theyâre hand-dipped and topped right in front of youâan experience that feels both nostalgic and indulgent.
When we finally bit in, the donuts were warm, pillowy, and packed with flavorâeach one a testament to the care that goes into their craft. The Fractured Prune doesnât just sell donuts; it sells an experience worth savoring, from the playful menu to the satisfying first bite.
If youâre in the area and have a few minutes to spare, Iâd absolutely say itâs worth the wait. Youâll leave with a smile, a sweet treat, and possibly a new favorite donut flavor you...
Read moreStopped in for some breakfast sandwiches. They made a mistake and gave us a bacon egg and cheese when we ordered sausage egg and cheese. Yes, they lost a dollar on products but they will be on my short list for breakfast when I return because they showed the respected my time!
But the real cool thing about this location is they seem to know everyone! I love that small town restaurant feel. Like a donut shop version of the old...
Read moreFirst and last time at this location. Watched kid behind counter hide from who I assume was his boss (older woman) texting away on hos phone. After touching his germy cell phone screen, he then used his ungloved hand and began cleaning the donut making machine while my donuts were being made. Gross! Donuts are not worth it. They are incredibly small (like mini donuts). Hoping the health department...
