Really great to have a person that cares....NYPD called me after this review to apologize. And, while I won't accept $, I did accept the apology. Thank you. 1st the food is really good...5... I ordered pick-up in 20min because delivery would have been like 40min. 3 men busting tail cooking, 1 young girl answering phones and taking money...and another older woman standing around watching. Now I'm not one to tell people what to do, but I watched my 2 pizzas and parm bites sit on a table...not under warming lights... for 15min after I paid. I shouldn't have to ask. Someone should have been asking. I had to ask twice- what are we waiting on?... I saw the delivery driver come and go. Not sure what happened to an extra 5min for adding a cookie... but I won't order pick up again. Delivery is faster. Can't believe this cause LOVE this place. 1. I Call an give my address an I'm hung up on. 2. I call back get a different person give my address an am transfered back to the same guy who just hung up on me to be told I've never ordered from my phone so I can't order unless I use a card.i felt very discriminated against (possible because of the area I live in) I can't say why exactly but it felt funny an I'm not the guy to normally pay this type thing any attention but All I wanted was 15 n.y.p.d wings a cheese pizza an some garlic bread with cheese I had a taste for nothing more an usually I go get it but tonight I couldn't. It only took a few months of living in Cincinnati for NYPD pizza to become my favorite pizza place. The staff work really hard and they are like family. they treat their customers like family too. The owners are wonderful members of the community and Kevin L. really does a great job at making his pizza restaurant the best in Cincinnati. Delivery is always faster than expected with friendly and punctual drivers.
The food is out of this world! I've never had a better calzone in my life and with all of the options from the obviously perfect pizza to the hoagies and wings and fried pickles and mushrooms, you cant go wrong.
