Delhi Park is a great place for sports enthusiasts! The park boasts several fields that are reserved for baseball and other sports, making it feel more like a big sports arena than a park. In addition to the sports fields, there are several paved trails that criss-cross and loop around the park. These trails are clean and well-maintained, offering visitors an easy and enjoyable way to explore the park. One of the highlights of the park is the pond, which is home to a variety of waterfowl. Walking along the banks of the pond is a peaceful and relaxing experience. Despite its urban location, Delhi Park manages to maintain a sense of tranquility and natural beauty. It's the perfect place to enjoy a day out with friends or family, or to get some exercise while enjoying...
Read moreI come here every weekend with my mom and walk the dogs. It’s a great walking park because of the size. It has several baseball and soccer fields and will be busy on the weekends with school sports. They just put in a dog park, replacing one of the ball fields but it doesn’t look like it’s open yet at the time of this post. There’s a few different play grounds for the young ones. Restrooms and ports potty’s are scattered around the park. I think there is 2 sets of restrooms. I’ve never been in them though. Near the entrance is a decent sized pond that comes equipped with a several dozen mallards and geese. There are some people I’ve come across that think walking their dog off the leash is a good idea so please beware of that if bringing your pet.
In the summer there’s a small farmers market and also a public library right at the entrance.
Overall it’s a great park and I’ll continue going there as much as I can...
Read moreThe new park and equipment are very nice. However it was VERY crowded and kids of all ages were running around. Nothing bad, but with that many kids it was hard for me to keep an eye on my 3 and 7 year old. The bigger play set is geared toward older children. It is fine for a younger child if you are present and helping them. However, there are a lot of openings for small children to fall from. A young girl (around 4) fell face first from the top of the very high slide! Again, it is fine if you are watching/helping younger children. Overall it is a very nice area with lots to do. I'll try and go back at a less busy time! Also, it should be noted that there are no tables. We brought food to eat before playing and there are absolutely no tables, not even in the shelters around the park. Also the bathrooms...
