Not giving a bad rating, because this Biggby has been more wonderful than most others we've been to. We've had seldom problems with this location, like the syrups not being mixed in well enough into my coffee (easily fixed by stirring it up with my straw, just a little shocking when I've got a mouthful of mint syrup), too much cream for asking for one (1) pump in my mom's coffee, (to the point where the shade of her coffee is lighter than a sheet of paper, on more than one occasion). These weren't an issue as the baristas are always willing to fix them. However, recently something more complicated happened. My mom had gone through the drive through, and her parter gone inside so they could pay separately without making it difficult. After mom had ordered, one of the baristas had began complaining about how she was "always so difficult with her order", which honestly? Isn't true. It's a pretty simple iced coffee with sugar, cream, and sometimes whipped cream. It isn't like she's asking for something unnecessarily complicated with three different syrups and all of that other random stuff. My mom's partner had heard the barista, and mentioned how she should not be talking about customers that way, considering they'd never know who's in earshot. The occasional mix up with a beverage wasn't an issue, but when the baristas start to speak poorly of customers not doing anything wrong, or making their jobs hard, is when we begin to have a real problem. We've stopped going to this Biggby for the time being, however I'm sure in the future we'll return. This is the only time we've had a real issue with them, and it was only the one barista. (the one actually making the drinks was staring at the one speaking poorly with a very "stop...
Read moreCan't even explain how much I dislike the employees asking if we'd like to leave a tip. There is a tip jar hanging out the window, or I would tell them to charge extra on my card if I wanted to leave one. I feel like even if Bigby isn't serving up what you'd stereotypically think of as fast food, that's still what they are (their iced coffee if just $6 instead of McDonalds $3-something). Fast food = cheap and fast, it's not even cheap and it's for sure not fast at this location, I only come when I have at least 15-20 mins to spare. BIGGBY - PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO RELY ON TIPS. YOUR COFFEE IS ALREADY OVERPRICED AS IT IS. ALSO HIRE MORE PEOPLE... THIS LOCATION IS SOOO SLLLOOOWWW.
Employees are nice so they they get two stars - my bitterness towards being asked for tips and being late for work several times (how do I still wait 15 mins when there's only one person in front of me???) would make it a one star if...
Read moreI have gone to most of the local Biggbys, but I'm not going back to this one. Within five seconds of when we walked in, one of the counter staff was coughing without covering her mouth. We placed or order, and the next staff member tossed my frequency card on the counter back to me, which seemed kind of rude at the time, because they usually hand them back. I noticed that while the barista made my drink, she wiped her nose with her hand and didn't bother washing them afterward. The experience kind of grossed me out, and I think the staff needs refresher training on food safety. I am not unusually rude or high maintenance to justify any of this, and next time I'll just pick a place whereI'll be treated better and not feel like they're going to...
