I'd spend a lot of time here if I was a local. An intimate bar area where everyone knows your name before the evening is over. We came both evenings and made friends with everyone there. We enjoyed watching and playing pool. The wife loves ski ball. Yes, they have ski ball. One night she ended up in a competition with a young man that was there. There was a lot of good stories for such a small group. I understood this is going to be a shot and a beer place, but didn't appreciate how true that was. They could do a G&T for the wife, and I pointed to whatever the most interesting brown liquid was to drink. One night that was the Makers Mark, the next night it was the Jamisons. The prices were great. The servers are basically hopeless to help if you think your'e getting a cocktail. Often I can find a beer and a shot place will have some sweet vermouth hiding somewhere so i can get a manhattan. I got completely clueless looks when I asked. Worst service ever from bartender Sam. She served us one beer, then talked to her friends for 20 minutes and ignored us. When I called her out for it, she was rude and told us to find another bar, so I called her a lousy bartender. I also told Sam I was going to report her to the bar owner, but Sam and her friends lied to the owner, and I was banned from the bar. Owner should provide customer service training to all bartenders.
