I went there for breakfast in a weekday it was pretty full I ordered the cheeseburger and chips the waitress offered me to change the chips for fries so that was good but because it was so full they forgot the dish of my companion so I went in there and the cook said that the dish had been there for minutes I also ordered an orange juice and it tasted a little weird

4.5/5 stars (adjusted for location). Had a delightful lunch here after hiking to Notch Peak. The ladies who worked the counter were kind, thoughtful, and attentive. I had huevos rancheros and it hit the spot. Followed that up with a slice of cherry pie. I look forward to a future visit next time I am in this part of “the middle of nowhere”.

I had the French Toast combo (an egg, two pieces of bacon, and two slices of toast). The French toast was warm and battered perfectly to have that slightly salty tinge that worked great with the sweet maple syrup provided. I had my egg scrambled and my taste buds were happy to make out the savour of salty butter and egg together.

I'm really suprised by all the good reviews. Maybe my experience was just a fluke. Mind you I came for dinner and I will say their breakfast menu looked cheaper and tastier. But with all the high reviews my expectations were a bit higher.

Anywho we get there and the place is a bit rundown. Which is fine because sometimes they can be a signal for just a tasty small homely diner.

Our waitress seemed quite grumpy and short patiented, and she was visibly annoyed when I asked her questions about the menu. And sure, I will give her the benefit of the doubt that she was just having a rough day. We all have rough days and maybe this was one of hers. But if I were to guess it just seemed like she didn't like her job.

I looked at their dinner menu as I was there during dinner. I had seen previous reviews saying the food was very reasonably priced but there dinner menu was expensive. I finally settled on a country fried steak dinner as that can be one of my favorite meals. It was 15 dollars which felt a little steep but I was hoping it would make up for it in taste.

The meal starts off with soup so we got a clam chowder. It was the best part of the meal since it actually tasted good. We get our meal and not only was it pretty small, but I dont even think it was beef. The country fried steak dinner tasted like pork. It was very thin and did not taste good. The potatoes were chalky and didn't taste that good.

I left very disappointed having paid about like 20 dollars for one of the worst country fried steaks I have had.

Again though, there breakfast menu looked...

When we entered the waitress was sitting at the bar, she swiveled around and told us to sit anywhere. She took her time getting us menus and taking our order. I asked abo6the I ingredients in a particular salad, which I ordered. When it came it was mostly lettuce, one piece of bacon, some shredded cheese, three small pieces of chicken. When I asked about the missing items from what she told me, she said she guessed they were out, then walked away. She then td the other waitress what I had asked about, within hearing of out table and those around. The other waitress, again within hearing range said in a mocking voice, "awww" I told her that she was being rude, then she lied about what she had said. I asked for a to go carton, then they offered a free piece of pie when they saw me on my phone. She finally brought the scene as we were getting ready to leave. Ieft most of the lettuce, taking the cheese and chicken. I did not take the pie. Both waitresses were on their phones when they saw me on mine. A very expensive salad, rude staff. Btw, both w as waitresses were more interested in the man sitting at...

This is definitly a hole on the wall find. The art is mismatched and a little worn down. Don't let this fool you. The food is exceptional. My partner and I had the Denver omlet and the rancher with pancakes. I dont know why it was so much better than most but it was. The jam was a burst of rich raspberry flavor. The pancakes were the lightest and fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. The omlet was just plain great!! The coffee was good and though I usually drink it black I tried the reeses pb cup creamer- yum. When we were there locals bantered about fishing and such. The bathrooms though the tp roll is broken off and the floor had a patch were really clean. This was just a great place with...
