I try not to leave bad reviews unless it is needed, but this is definitely one of those times where I was just blown away in the worst way! We got to the speaker, and no one greeted us even after 2 full minutes of waiting. My husband finally said, "hello?", where someone replied, "we'll be right with you". After waiting another 3 minutes we were able to order. The drive thru worker was rude, made us repeat the order over and over again (it was 10 munchkins, 2 shots of espresso, and a latte- nothing super special). It was super frustrating, but maybe she was new? Come to find out they said they only had blueberry munchkins, which was totally fine. We get to the window and the cashier asked me if I wanted my espresso shots hot or iced, but so rudely, I almost wanted to ask my husband just to leave. We only saw one worker at first, so I wondered if she was manning the entire operation herself and felt bad if that was the case. As she was away from the window, presumably making the drinks, we saw 4 other workers walking around. None seemed to be helping or working. Not sure what was happening. We finally got the drinks and my husband reminded the young lady we had ordered munchkins. She handed us a bag with 5 munchkins in it. We asked what we had been charged for and she said none since there were out of the ones we wanted. I thought that was a nice gesture, but we could've done without the sigh and eye roll. Overall, a terrible experience. Also, we went through at 1:30pm - not during the morning rush. If the young lady was doing all the work herself, I do feel sorry for her. Communication would have gone a long way, we all have bad days, but hopefully, in the future, she can communicate to her teammates that she needs help in drive thru instead of taking it out on the...
Read moreThis is my original review from 06/2016 This particular location, Howland Blvd. Deltona, is horribly inconsistent and messes up my order almost every single time. When I ask for decaf 8/10 times they give me regular, not good for someone with heart rhythm issues... They also ask me if I want a turbo shot every time I order decaf, doesn't any employee there have common sense? When I order a hazelnut flavored coffee with cream and splenda, 8/10 times they give me hazelnut swirl, which has sugar in it. Aside from the fact that I can't have sugar, wouldn't common sense dictate that if someone orders an artificial sweetener they don't want the sweetened flavor? Yesterday my iced coffee was literally 95% cream and a tiny splash of actual coffee, it was almost pure white. The food is no better, hash browns are always soggy as is the fried chicken on their sandwiches. This is the ONLY coffee shop on my commute to work, or I would have stopped going here ages ago. End original review
Today after only visiting sporadically over the last year I decided to give them another chance. Once again they gave me regular coffee instead of decaf. I'm 100% certain of this because the dispenser for regular is right next to the drive thru window, while the dispenser for decaf is around the corner by the front counter. I watched them pour regular right in front of me, even though my receipt clearly said decaf so their screen must have as well. They're either completely incompetent...
Read moreOk letâs just say, they are inconsistent. Sometimes depending on who works they are very good, order is right, coffee and food is perfect. Other times itâs so thrown together itâs like âwhy do I even botherâ. I always get the same coffee and itâs fine, but I get wake up wraps which are bacon egg and cheese on a tortilla. And when itâs bad, itâs bad. I had mold on an egg once my little one caught it thank god. The cheese is haphazardly thrown on with a tiny piece of an egg patty, and the bacon will be burned or not cooked. Itâs so confusing how you could get something so easy so wrong. The hash browns are sometimes way under cooked and sometimes basically charred with how over done they are. Sometimes a mocha caramel latte will be unsweet and sometimes so sweet it hurts. They constantly forget items but are very quick to apologize and replace. Theyâre very nice in that regard. They are also very fast. On Saturdays they have cars wrapped around the building they are so busy but it moves along pretty swiftly. But yea they need to be more efficient. I feel like Iâm taking a gamble...
