Monster Pizza — Restaurant in Deltona

1. I can not believe anyone would compare this pizza to "NY style". NY pizza is hand tossed... thin crust. i went in to pick up my order, i watched the kid at the counter roll out the pizza dough. definitely not hand tossed. The crust was bulky, and chewy at best. If you think this is NY style you have certainly never eaten pizza in NY
2. i waited in store over an hour for 2 pizza and 2 dozen garlic rolls???? are you kidding me. there were 8 people that appeared to be on staff when i was there. if you can not make 2 pizzas and 2 dozen rolls in less then 20 minutes with 8 people then you need to reconsider you hiring tactics. 3)the comment that monster pizza left as a response to a costumer saying that everything was handmade and nothing was canned is total BS (excuse my french) the rolls had a melted buttery substance on them with powered garlic? not that "hand made". and if that is homemade sauce, you would probably be bettered off going with canned...gross!!!!
3. i see that several comment are responded to with "if we had known", "if you had called" things would have been better. I did call!!!!! i was met with "i am sorry we are very busy on Thursday nights, an hour wait is totally typically, those who enjoy our food are willing to wait for quality." when i said that the pizza and rolls were less then good, i got, "you should try one of the other pizzerias in the area, because we have the best ratings in the area." and the phone hung up.

save your money!!! go get something else this place is gross and the customer...

Now let me tell you readers something .. now I usually don’t leave reviews for anything truly . But I pass this place on the way to work every day for the last few months . I kept telling myself I’ll try it . Finally today I did. And I am truly mad with myself that I hadn’t tried this place sooner. The younger girl Who took my order over the phone was kind and patient with me , the store itself you can’t sit and eat in but it’s very very very clean! I was indecisive on what to order because I wanted to try a little bit of everything lol. I just did the Philly cheesteak plus a $15.99 pizza deal that came with a large pizza and garlic knots ! And then they have great affordable pizza deals (you know most pizza places these days charge an arm and a leg just for one pizza) ! The Philly cheesteak? Oh my goodness . Only thing I’m missing and forgot to ask for was mayo but that’s preference obviously . The sub was so freaking big one half of it was the size of one sub alone . I will be coming back weekly ! Monster Pizza is THE BEST Deltona has - best food - best customer service - best prices! I am never disappointed and I've been eating their take out since they opened their first store in 2006. At this point, I have tried almost everything on the menu. My current fave is the Terriyaki wings with cheesy bread on the side! I love their salads - all of them. Pizza pies I can't do without? Of course, the Greek Odyssey pizza and the traditional cheese pie - Monster size. I like that I never have to worry about quality here. Their pizza is made to order - fresh, hot and delicious. Their customer service cannot be beat. Whenever I come through that door these guys make me feel like they appreciate me as much as I appreciate them. This is the real deal! After all this time, this is my first review, and I just had to say how lucky we are to have this gem of a place in our neighborhood. I always leave there smiling, and the owners - 2 brothers- are home grown, Deltona! Another plus for me - I love to support local businesses, especially when they give back to our community like...
