I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I recently received at the Deltona Starbucks location.
My family and I went out of our way to visit this location in particular because it was new to plan my engagement party and to enjoy some food and drinks. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by an incident involving one of your employees, Olivia.
Initially, Olivia made a mistake with my mother's drink order. Understandably, my mother approached Olivia politely to have the drink remade correctly. Olivia responded rudely by stating she would make the drink the same incorrect way and proceeded to laugh in my mother's face. This behavior was unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
After the second attempt to remake the drink it still did not meet our expectations, my mother requested a water instead. Olivia and her coworker, Rowdy, proceeded to laugh openly at my mother, with Olivia even stating, "This makes my day," regarding the situation. This insensitive behavior was extremely hurtful, especially considering the amount of money we spent at your establishment.
It is clear that Olivia lacks the necessary customer service skills and professionalism to represent Starbucks. Such behavior not only tarnishes your brand's reputation but also creates a hostile environment for customers who expect courteous and respectful service.
I kindly request that Starbucks management address this issue promptly. I suggest reviewing Olivia's suitability for customer-facing roles and providing additional training where necessary to ensure that all customers receive the high-quality service they deserve.

Read moreThere should be a negative rating available as this establishment doesn’t even deserve the “1”. We waited in line yesterday for 45 minutes to order. Once finally at the speaker we were immediately cut off by the “manager” with a horrendous attitude. We proceeded to order our drinks and were cut off AGAIN to let us know they don’t have any ingredients needed to make our drinks. Once out of line, we called the store to ask to speak to someone in charge. This same person answered the phone with a foul attitude and down right refused to give us his name and told us he didn’t have to give us any information and to go right ahead and contact customer service (with an I don’t care attitude). He knew he was in the wrong and yet still refused to better our experience. Someone like this should not be in a position dealing with the public if they’re that miserable. We called customer service which had an hour and half wait so we eventually left an email as we have never been disrespected this way- especially when we did absolutely nothing wrong. If the store was out of product and employees were miserable working then just shut the store down until normal operations can be resumed. We called the store this morning and told the manager is in meetings all day - really? The person answering the phone said she was a supervisor, yet said she can’t do anything because she wasn’t there yesterday- so who is in charge here? I would stay far away from this Starbucks as they definitely need help and training in customer service. I decided to try again on another Sunday night. It looks like this Starbucks has stabilized so I am happy to bring up from 3 stars. :) Again, everyone was working hard and the team was very kind. Honestly, They made my day. My sandwich came out hot and toasty and my drink was made perfectly. Restaurant overall looked clean and organized. It is a nice place to get some studying done. I am proud to see that they worked out the kinks and that this will be my new Starbucks home to make my regular study visits. Its hard to get orders perfect back to back and the last few times I have visited they have gotten it spot on. I look forward to my next drink. Original 10/2023 Its a brand new Starbucks in the largest city in Volusia and the only one. They are going thru growing pains. It's Sunday evening as I'm writing this review. Which is not supposed to be super busy. But the staffing is low. The manager and the kids are working their buttons off but they cant keep up with demand. Perhaps someone walked out or something, but they are getting slaughtered. I think they are going to be great once they lock in the staff and ordering because a lot of stuff is out.
