I’ve eaten their food before and I instantly feel in love. This was my first time ordering by myself and I decide I’ll get the spicy beef Lo mein because a friend of mine ordered it before and I tried some and loved it. The balance of flavors were just perfect and the value for the price was amazing. I ordered a lunch portion and it was nice and large for 12.50 with tax. It even came with a delicious crispy spring roll. The cashier greeted me very nicely and was patient. The wait time was amazing too. My food took 10 minutes. Even thinking about it I’m craving it. Y’all are definitely sleeping on this restaurant. I will be definitely coming back to try their other dishes. It’s Better than Panda Express for real šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

Many years ago when moving to Green Valley Ranch (2007), the food was not that great and admittedly neither was the service. Fast forward to 2025, I decided to try again, and I can tell you that the food is absolutely tremendous. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Colorado. The hosts are great, the food is hot, fresh, and plenty of it. The costs are fair for what you get and if you live in Green Valley, the location cannot be beat.

Well, the picture on the menu shows it fried (I should’ve known, but there were NO carrots in the rolls. The Singapore noodles only had ONION (it does not say it has onion) and chicken. Please update the menu to what you actually have…definitely no red green peppers or carrots or egg! Also the ā€œcurry sauceā€ must be added before cooking, probably more of a seasoning than a sauce. Super disappointing 😩

Quality of the food was terrible. The pad thai tasted like just soy sauce and noodles. The shrimp fried rice was the worst I've ever had anywhere. They used the cheapest type of rice (short grain rice and very mushy) and the shrimp just did not taste right or look right like it was very old or something. And when I went to return the food for a refund female owner was very unprofessional and extremely rude. She yelled and screamed at me and my mother of 80 years to never come back there again and that they did not want our business. She became more and more angry and got louder and louder yelling at us as we were calmly walking out. If she had a gun she would have shot us for sure. All because she ha refunded me $11 for one of the two meals. I could have demanded that she refunded my entire order because it was not acceptable at all but I did not want to argue at all so I only insisted upon the refund for one meal. She did not even offer to refund the total price of the one meal, only a portion of the price which I told her was unacceptable but in the end I accepted the $11 which was not the total price of the meal with taxes. I just wanted to get out of there and never come back again because that was what I was going to do if the service was bad due to me wanting a refund for the terrible food. I had stopped going there a long time ago because I didn't think the chicken was chicken but I recently decided to give them a try because they are one of the few Chinese places in the neighborhood. I want to warn folks please don't go there! As the other reviews have said the female owner is bizarre to say the least and the food is terrible and very inconsistent and I'm not sure what type of chicken that is if it's even chicken which is why I only ordered the shrimp dishes only to find that they are terrible too. The only thing worse than the food is the attitude and service provided by the...

I USED to love this place, ate here all the time when I worked nearby. My family and I were in the area today and I stopped in and ordered a large to go order- totaling 52.38 I added a 5$ tip even though I ordered at the counter and picked it up myself. We got home and ate dinner, I was horrified to find all 3 pu pu platters contained food that was old & dry. The shrimp in it was so rubbery that it got spit out.the eggroll was ok but had no taste. My cashew chicken tasted alright except for the huge chunks of bamboo that tasted bad- almost spoiled. I picked those out and did eat it n the steamed rice was fine. My mom's mixed tempura- we eere charged an extra 1.00 for pineapple (got 3 pieces)the tempura was undercooked & doughy. She ate a little of it. My dad's kung pao beef, he said tasted like it had been reheated several times and the fried rice was greasy n mushy. We all got nausea, threw up and later diarrhea as well. I called to complain and warn them so others wouldn't get sick. The lady that answered the phn said there wasn't a manager to talk to, so I asked to speak with the owner instead. She said, "do you speak chinese? Because he speaks chinese." I said I just need to make a complaint. She had me repeat what we had and how much it cost 3 times. I heard her (I assume) explaining it to the man in chinese. Then she says I need to go to the hospital. Told me twice that & said if I bring them a receipt from the hospital then she'd talk to me. We will NEVER eat there again!!!!! Never apologized...

Before anyone reads my review, I would like for them to read some of the other reviews and the business's responses to the reviews, both positive and negative. They demonstrate minimal professionalism and accountability.

*I would also like to note that my service from the young server was amazing. She was kind and helpful and an asset to this business. They are lucky to have her.

I dined-in at Blue Bay Asian Cafe in Green Valley Ranch this evening.

An older male came out of the back and yelled at the young female server in front of customers. The male made eye contact with me while he was yelling at her. She got teary-eyed.

When tipping, I asked the server if she was given the tips that were left. She said, "No, the tips do not go to the servers or the kitchen.. It is given to the owners." I did NOT leave a tip.

As I was leaving, another woman from the kitchen came out and said, "Thank you have a great night!" I did not respond to her given the experience I just had. She, the second employee who has now shouted during my experience publicly yelled, "Are you serious?" and asks the other server if "she saw that?"

I'm no lawyer but I do know there is a Fair Labor Act out there stating that owners pocketing the tips is illegal.

God forbid it was the owner who came out and publicly yelled at the young female. Poor treatment of customers and staff. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

Can't wait to read their response to this so I can have a chuckle - your reputation...
