Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Denver

I had a Carl's burger in a Lakewood location about 3 weeks ago. It was a really good burger...juicy and fresh crunchy lettuce..tomatoes were fresh it was the best burger I had had in a long time. I had really been talking up the burgers for weeks and was getting excited about the restaurant being built in the neighborhood. So I went to get dinner for the family and we were all looking forward to a good dinner...UNFORTUNATELY we were all very disappointed. The burgers were dried out...the fries were very unfavorable and limp...as for the zucchini they were awful..both in texture and taste...even the sodas were not right. As for the poppers if you order and pay for 9 you should not get 6. I asked for a rootbeer and got some kind of watered down coke...They said they were out of american cheese but I could get pepper jack or swiss cheese on the burgers. No big deal I got the jack thinking it would be good. The whole meal was quite disgusting for all of us. I was not able to eat half of my dinner as it hit my stomach like a brick. I drove 40 minutes round trip for this...Well if this is what is coming to the neighborhood please stop building and save some face. I am not sure if anyone does quality control..but...

I would give zero stars. Horrible customer service! My brother who has anxiety was waiting 20 minutes in line waiting for someone to assistant him. Of course I have the right to be upset I came inside to redirect the problem, and she just assumed he was with a group of people. When the people were behind him! And I said you can’t ausume he or anyone is in group that is just judgements. All I wanted to hear was “ I apologize I honestly thought he was with the group may I take your order “ but no the cashier lady with blue eyes black hair got frustrated and with a fist. Just horrible, the funny part was that the night manager was next to her and said “oh sorry what’s the problem “ like if she didn’t hear anything. My brother said they both had their backs turned just talking and met eyes!!! she didn’t say anything but continued talking!! The struggle I go through to teach my brother to be brave to take care of things and not be afraid but what they did was absolutely not right. No matter where costumers are standing close by the front or in line it doesn’t hurt to ask ”are you ready” or “may...

I wished my experience at this Carl's Jr. was a better one. I placed my order for a Charbroiled Chicken Club sandwich and pulled up to the drive-thru window to pay. As usual, to fudge the drive thru clock numbers they had me pull around to the front of the store to wait for my order. If you don't know already, they do this so upper management believes their service times are lower than they really are. I waited approximately 5-6 minutes for my order. Once the shift manager brought my order I noticed that the bun was not the typical wheat bun but the small hamburger bun and the chicken patty was half its normal size. I returned to the restaurant and asked for the proper sandwich and was told that they ran out of wheat buns. Wanting to cut my losses I simply asked for a refund.
