So this day started with me going to pull into taco bell to grab a cold treat. As I sat in the parking lot I saw across the street a sign tucked away interview distance. Being a foodie I decided to take a trip, boy was it worth it.
I entered off of GVR Bolukevard as it's tucked away like a hidden treasure that it is. Upon going in I didn't know what to expect but the normal, be open. Boy was the karma good!!!
There a good but if things for me and I have a kinda small palette. I was entertained by Amy who asked if I needed help and who became my guide for the next 15-25 minutes.
She delicately explained each difference between the items as I hadn't been exposed to many Hispanic desserts. Just the cold section was enough for me to become a frequent visitor but when I found that they had churro sundaes I almost lost it (combined with cinnamon rice ice cream). They have sundaes, sorbets fizz, floats, milk shakes, magonadas, and frames.
Then there was the food item selection: I could get wings (various seasonings), street tacos, smothered fries, burritos, domino's etc...
Don't sleep on Un Limon I will be reaching out to the owner with an idea that will help expand their current client basen, this is one place I stand bynthaysntotslly slept on but won't be slept on for long of I have my way!

Read moreGot to my hotel and wanted Mexican food. Searched uber eats and found this spot. After reading the reviews I figured I'd give it a try.
I ordered a burrito, a asada and al pastor taco. First I was kind of thrown back by the beans. Not my first time seeing it in a taco but have never seen it north San Diego. But more about the tacos. The tortillas were a mix between flour and corn. They weren't bad, wish they had been heated up a bit more. The meat both asada and al pastor were pretty tasteless. The beans were ok but feel they needed more seasoning. The tacos in general had very little flavor. The worse part was the lack of salsa. Never have I ordered tacos and not at least been given one or two red or green salsas.
Now the burrito. For 10 bucks what I got was an embarrassing display. This thing is maybe an inch and a half in thickness. I knew I wasn't going to enjoy it when I saw the lettuce. Just all around disappointment full off fillers. Where's the beef comes to mind?
All in all I'm going to say I was more impressed then let down. I know after reading what I wrote that's probably hard to believe. But I was expecting a lot worse for Denver mexican food. I can't wait to go back to...
Read moreAfter being outside in the heat, we wanted to have something light, nutricious, and filling and happened to find a this place and gave it a try. We were so happy that we found it. The food was really good and hit the spot! We had Baja Tacos (Lime Marinaded Shrimp with cabbage, salsa, onion, Cilantro, and radishes served in fried taco shells), and Tacos "Un Limon" (Fried ground beef tacos, avocado, pico, lettuce, roasted totam salsa, and lime). They were great. There are many other dishes that we would love to try. Not only they have tacos but also variety of hamburgers, snacks, fruits, ice cream, and other items that we wish we had extra stomach space to try. We would definately go back and enjoy other dishes and sweets. I would also like to bring our child with us to try their food as well as Mexican popsicles they have in the freezer. It has a casual dine-in areas and that was just perfect for us. It is hard to find from the street because the sign of the restaurant is behind leaves of trees, but don't give up. I hope you will enjoy whatever...
