I waited an hour and a half for my order after being quoted at 24-34 minutes online. I called the store to speak to a manager about my order and was told that they were running about 2 hour deliverie times. I was told by the store manager that I should have called the store to confirm the deliverie time and not the other way around as it should have been. We (my girlfriend and I) would have been fine waiting the extra time had we been given updated info about our order. Beyond the slow service and the rude manager our pizza arrived "warm" at best. We encountered a similar problem with another location where we entered our location "incorrectly" even after the store called to confirm the address. We again waited two hours after calling because it was a Saturday night so we expected that they would be busy (other incident occured on a monday) but our delivery proceeded to go back to the store with our order because our address was "non-existent" leaving us to wonder what happened. We are only about 5 minutes up the street from the store, but ordered for delivery so we could get it right at lunch time. Online system showed our order left the store at 11:56 AM. By 12:15, we are wondering where our food is. Called the store, they confirmed it left at 11:56 with the driver but that they had another order with them that had to be delivered first. Our pizza did not arrive until after lunch was over, around 12:35 PM. Because the pizza sat in the car for 40 minutes, it was cold. All the driver had to say was "There was a miscommunication at the store". Hmm...different story than we were told on the phone. Not the first time this location has dropped the ball. We have large company lunches frequently and have ordered 20-30 pizzas at a time from Domino's. But, thanks to the way this store's associates handled our order today, our company won't waste our time and money ordering from here again. Word to the wise, taking accountability and apologizing...
Read moreStarted ordering delivery from them three or four months ago, a couple a month, Domino's Pizza, 2917 W 38th Ave, Denver, CO 80211. Loved the pizzas it had been years since I ordered from them much better than they used to be. We just ordered a veggies pizza and got a cheese pizza. The manager when we called to explain had no empathy and said it was our fault because we did not order the toppings as needed thru Door-dash. When I asked if I had ordered it directly from her what would I have received, she said a pizza loaded with the veggies. This seems more like a probable between Domino's and Door-Dash than between me and Door-dash. I can't remember the last time a manager acted has if she could care less if we never ordered another pizza from her. And that is exactly what we will be doing. So buy the pizza but don't talk to the manager. When I let Door-Dash know what happened they gave us a refund and we will use them going forward but we have ordered our last pizza...
