Stopped in for a coffee and a treat on my way to the DMNS, and was so glad I did! Denver has plenty of solid coffee shops, serving good pulls of espresso, and tasty classics. What I personally have been eager to find, is a spot specializing in funky, thoughtful, experimentation. I *think* I found it. I got some sort of “sea-hag cold brew” with nori infused cold foam. It was so good. A fun, yummy, coffee-forward drink, that wasn’t too sweet—a big pet peeve of mine. The vibes were great, with a clean interior, and pleasant outdoor space. And when there wasn’t a huge selection of pastries, the scone my kiddo picked was really well done (again, not too sweet, great crumb, good fixing to cake ratio). Looking forward to coming back with my husband for a coffee date.

I have been stopping by here during dog walks since opening. Lattes are great and fairly priced. Such warm service from the baristas. Great atmosphere and location. Yesterday I was having some electrical work done at home so decided to work from Hot Shot. Picked a spot in the corner to take a casual call with my bosses. I'm in software development so the my conversation started off technical and ended casual chit chat. Like cars and kids stuff. I guess the manager/owner didn't like that because I see her (or them) waving at me to keep it down. I had been watching the room and didn't see anyone look at me or flinch when I was talking; in fact most people had headphones on when I sat down. So I'm not sure if I was profiled because of looks or the end of my conversation or what. I would suggest if you need silence in the coffee shop to turn down the Avril Lavigne blasting in the background. I should also mention the WiFi was so choppy that I ended up having to use my hot spot while there. Good place to grab a cup to go but I would not sit...

I stop here any time I’m in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly and very professional. Andrea has helped me a few times. She is warm and gets things done quickly without seeming rushed. The drip coffee is excellent and very reasonably priced. Espresso and specialty drinks are priced similarly to other shops in Denver, and every one that I’ve tried has been great. The space is open and bright, and they always have good music playing at a...
