HELLOFOOD in Meow Wolf — Restaurant in Denver

I've eaten at Hello Food several times, each time with hope, and it is kind of awful. The food is bland. The chicken tacos have only meat, that tastes like it was spooned out of tepid chicken soup. Nothing else on the tacos - no cheese, sauce, or vegetables of any kind. Breakfast burrito: bland, mostly potato. Had a veggie snack tray once, like $8 for six baby carrots and ranch dressing. The vanilla cappucino was good actually, but very sweet. This is a venue in a museum and thus has a captive audience because there is no re-entry, so you can't pop out for food, and then pop back in. Expect to spend more than the food is worth - you are paying for the convenience of eating without leaving the venue... I love Meow Wolf, but Hello Food breaks my heart. Seriously, prepackaged snack food from a vending machine would be better. Sometimes the staff is on point and helpful and friendly, and sometimes I feel like I'm there at the ninth hour of their 8 hour shift. Please figure out how to make Hello...

I was surprised to spend almost 37 to get two meals, almost the price of a ticket to Convergence station, for their very limited menu was already out of mac and cheese as well as burritos when we came for lunch. So my girlfriend ended up getting the nachos and I got the chicken adobo. The portions ended up very small for the price. We had to send the nachos back twice for having meat on them from someone elses order and when I finally took a bite of my chicken it was undercooked and the rice was in a soup of greese and oil. Edit: I'm actually more annoyed now. They didn't even offer a refund or anything even though this ruined my appetite and trust in the other food we got. I can't believe this place is still in business considering the fact meow wolf disallows you from bringing outside food or beverages into the experience. For the egregious price we paid I'm sorely disappointed.
