This was originally our top pick but it was obvious they didn’t care if they got our business. We are having a small wedding of about 30 people. Maybe that’s not enough revenue for Ironworks?
We did a walk through on a Saturday and were told we would be sent a quote for the venue and the vendors. Knowing it was the weekend and they were really busy , I gave it a few days. I reached out a few days later to see if they had a chance to get us a quote. I was sent a quote and was told they would need to charge the $2k alcohol charge for 30 people. Even though that’s a lot we still really liked the venue. I reached out again to check on dates and how that affected the rates. I was told they would honor the 2020 rates and give us a $1k discount and the total would be $2k. What would be $2k? The alcohol, still? If that’s the case the alcohol is not $1k off. Once again I wasn’t requesting money off the insane amount for alcohol for 30 people. I was reaching out for clarification and was sent generic brochures for pricing.
The point of this review is just to let people know this will be a VERY impersonal and...
Read moreWe booked our October 2020 wedding with Ironworks in January 2020, before the impacts of COVID were fully felt in the United States. Sarah Howley, Senior Event and Sales Manager, for Ironworks has been compassionate and understanding throughout the entire process of postponing and rescheduling our wedding date. As we contemplated moving forward with a wedding date in 2020, Sarah scheduled frequent calls with me to provide updates on the venue and restrictions in Colorado. When we ultimately chose to postpone our 2020 wedding, Sarah reassured us that our deposit would rollover to any future date we chose with no additional charges. As the situation with COVID remained uncertain, we were allowed to put holds on up to three contingency dates, even with one date in 2022. I would highly recommend booking with Ironworks, not only for the beautiful venue, but for the understanding and flexibility during these uncertain times. They have made a very difficult year, just a...

My fiancé and I had an appointment for a wedding walk through with Ironworks/Mile High Station. We called to confirm before our appointment. The event/sales assistant (Kate) told us to wait for her right outside the building. It seemed strange to meet outside in winter when we could just meet inside. Regardless, when we arrived no staff was present and all the doors to the building were locked. We waited almost 20 minutes outside before calling it quits. I called management (Melissa) and left a voicemail to let her know they missed our appointment. She never called us back. These people completely forgot about our appointment and then blew us off.
Update: Mistakes do happen, but you guys did not...
