That counts!)Update#2: I AM trying to call the ph# given in the link given...12x since 6/15/19...but can not get through. I would like to speak to someone about my review because I feel you need to be made aware of some things. How is it best to actually speak to someone? Call the Headquarters # instead? Thank you, unable to comprehend a single hamburger could be ordered without making it a Combo Meal according to what we read on the menu, cashier couldn't count out proper change for a cash transaction, the burger was small and tasteless, 3 out of 4 people in our party got the wrong order/item than was purchased, I myself had to ask for a clean soapy rag to wash the table and chairs at the cleanest table we could find, the ladies restroom had what appeared to be menstrual blood on a toilet and on the floor (when reported shortly after we got there, the mess was still there when we left), trash cans in lobby full, employees appeared to be goofing off behind the counter...all this with 3 tables with people, my party of 4 and two others. We drove nearly halfway cross-country to go to a Jack-in-the-box and were so sorely disappointed. That one visit has changed our opinion to the point I doubt we'll ever go to another one. It was quite a shock, disappointment, and huge let down. Our children grew up with our fun memories of going to old Jack but we were outright embarrassed this first time to share the opportunity with them. Granted, maybe one location, one shift but no, I am pretty certain enough was enough this visit. I wrote only what I would have left out (except the first three words) if I had been able to contact Customer Service at the link you provided. I sure couldn't get through....
Read moreI was recently a manager at this location; the mix of reviews I read don't surprise me. I left for a lot of reasons, the main ones being frequently under-staffed, severe imbalance of negative and positive feedback from the boss, the schedule was always rushed through last minute, and overall prioritization of the business over the people.
Another reason is towards the end of my tenure there, the manager came down sick with stomach flu, and talked about how she had just been having gastrointestinal symptoms to a lot of the employees, sometimes would keep saying she feels like she's going to throw up, then run to the bathroom shortly after. She reported having the symptoms for about a week, and was there every day that week, handling food most of those days. I came down with the sickness myself, as did a couple other employees. I only got out of work because I went to get a doctor's note. Another employee, who was having trouble finding somewhere close enough that took his health insurance, was just asked "why don't you have a doctor's note?" and was expected to work beyond one day he called off, just because he didn't have a doctor's note.
The following week, health inspectors came because someone filed an anonymous report of the sick people working. The district/regional manager was on the phone with me during a lot of this time, and when he learned I confirmed that sick people had been working, his response was to ask me whether I saw those people have symptoms, and since I didn't, wanted me to try to get out of a potential fee from the health department. That was really shady to me and showed a lack of concern of whether there had indeed been sick people working and the consequences that can bring.

Read moreWell, I should have known. Jack in the Box. I grew up west coast and later lived east coast for most of my life...and being in Denver I had a nostalgia pang for the Jack in the Box of my youth. My my how it has changed.
Ordered 6 tacos and iced tea and was given 5 taco sauces at drive thru. I asked for another sauce and it was like pulling teeth to get the two young ladies inside to accommodate. Eventually got it and they closed the drive thru window and went back to...I guess making other people's orders. Except, one problem....I did not get my drink.
I knocked on the closed window and they both looked over....but then turned away and kept making food. A second knock and they came over, I asked from my iced tea, one lady went to get it and came back from the lobby area with the drink (no apology)...but when I received it the lid popped off and spilled tea over my pant's leg and door interior - right in front of the worker, and she clearly saw it occur.
I set the drink down and asked for napkins, which they handed over....then closed the drive thru window again. Next problem....no straw. So I knocked on the window, they eventually came over, looking very annoyed. I asked for a straw, the answer "I already gave you one"...me: "no young lady you didn't"...and I added, "...and the lid to the drink was loose, that's why is spilled all over me". The answer?: "no, I put the lid on". Blank stare. No apology. No offer to top off the tea. Handed me a straw and closed the window without a word.
On the good side, the tacos were okay (it's JITB, so not great....but acceptable), and the teas that was left in the cup...
