Denver Public Library: Hadley Branch Library — Attraction in Denver

Small, cute little library, full of loud people hanging out. This is on a Monday afternoon (which I thought would be "work hours"). Building space is not structured well to mask or diminish noise--but people talking loudly on their phone with speakers loud enough that I can hear the person on the other end from the other room and screaming children makes it worse. Not really the library's fault. I was stupid and came here to get work done, everyone else is chatting with each other, running around, talking on the phone, or playing video games with volumes that exceed headphones. First visit. Should have gone to a bar or someplace quiet. But all the other SW libraries aren't open on Mondays.

Also I tripped like 4 times on the little round outlet covers or whatever those are on the floor. All the other libraries have these recessed so you don't trip on them. I'd at least paint them bright colors so they don't...

I really appreciate Mr. Chriatian all his help, Honestly, I'm really bad in technology and my English is not enough good, Christian is bilingual, he speaks great Spanish, he helped me yesterday a lot with my resume. I think he saw me yesterday that I was struggling when I was in the computer. and he came where I was and He offered me his help, Christian helped me to format and edit my resume, trasfered it to google drive, he scaned my resume to my emai, to make copies. God knows that I was struggling and frustrating because I needed to start sending my resume to indeed jobs. Thank you Christian for all your helo. This is one of the best libraries in Denver.

Comfortable working spaces. Each seat equipped with a power point. Each computer has a set of headphones. There is enough computers for adults and for kids in different zones.

In kids area there are iPads with a great selection of learning apps.

Lots of books. Almost every day there are activities for kids like story time, art and craft, lego club, cooking class etc.

Their Idea Lab is brilliant, you can create jewellery, print t-shirts, make 3D models, create clothing, record music, and much more. The Instructors are wonderful and very helpful and all the staff in the library are wonderful and friendly

It's a perfect place for homeschoolers with all the incredible resources at your fingertips.

I has the fastest internet we have found in any library in America.
