If you’re into hunting down the best tacos in Denver like I am, you need to try La Villa Real. A coworker of mine—who grew up in Mexico and is super picky about her tacos—put me on to this place. She said they make them just like they do in Mexico, and honestly, she wasn’t lying. I call these life-changing tacos. I haven’t shut up about them since I went. The asada and barbacoa are unreal—so flavorful, juicy, and just all-around delicious. I tell anyone who will listen about this place. They’ve got a truck at W Alameda Ave and S Decatur St, and a second location at 84th and Conifer Rd for those up in North Denver. The prices are super reasonable, which makes it even easier to go back again (and again). Trust me—it’s about to be your new favorite taco spot.

Exactly what we were looking for! Delicious tacos, loved the little add ons including refried beans on a tortilla, pickled veggies, and fresh salsas. While we were waiting they gave us some barbacoa to try which was flavorful and juicy. A couple picnic benches to sit at. Left very happy!

Great place to go and eat. Super delicious Mexican food! They sell suegras, burritos, tortas, tacos and quesadillas. Plus they are fast and super friendly! My family and I love coming here after a long day. If you're down there, try desebrada burrito!

Some of the best tacos in Denver easily. Everything I’ve had here is delicious and you won’t find a better spot to eat in Denver for $10. Tortillas are great. I’ve had the adobada and asada tacos and they were delicious. Got to try the barbacoa tacos today too and they were so flavorful. Definitely getting...

Some of the waitresses, are boxes of rocks... felt like I was having to tell our waitress how to do her job. Place is overpriced and the food was just ok... Definitely worth skipping... Totally need to deflate the big head, and come back to earth! You ain't missing anything special at...
