I’ll mainly direct this to the management and district management of this McD.. and elsewhere for that matter..
I go to work ..early.. and since this McD opened up here, I’ll drive through at around 4:15am 04:15.. sometimes I can get something ordered no problem.. but recently it seems they’ve been having various issues, computer problems mainly. This place is new, I understand, but you’d think they have this smoothed out by now, using the enterprise systems the other McD’s use and it would all be tied in. Nope.
Let’s get something straight here, I’m not out to trash the working wage frontline employees here.. they’re doing everything they can to keep this ship afloat while plying the fast food waters. I worked at McD’s myself back in the 80s and it gets hectic at breakfast time..
The gal at the drive thru is very sweet and understands my frustration, and I understand hers. You are literally juggling hot lava.. day in, day out.
But every 04:15.. sorry can’t get your order… sigh… 🤷🏻 ..all you can do is move on..
I went to one (McD) that took my order, and when I pulled up to the reception window.. they just handed me my order and told me it was on the house because their computer was down but we’d still like your business.
That was a rare occurrence. Happened on a few occasions to me at a couple Taco Bells.. 🤷🏻
My suggestion to the management here is to not let your frontline employees take the heat, you’re captaining this fast food vessel so stand up and help them out, get out of that cramped office and get in the window at.. 04:00 in the morning..!! Be an example of good management..!!
So there ya go. A little sugar can make the difference.. but if you miss that opportunity.. the customer will go...

Then management made it even worse. Instead of fixing the issue, the manager actually threatened to call their general manager on me and started yelling, falsely claiming I was being rude. Unreal. I was calm and polite the entire time while they were completely out of line. This place is filthy in more ways than one — the customer service is disgusting, the professionalism is nonexistent, and the management clearly doesn’t know how to do their job. Read moreThis is a new facility and it was the worst experience I ever had. The drive thru has super sharp angles that make it hard to enter and exit. I ordered a double cheeseburger without pickles and received just 2 patties on a bun. No onions, no cheese, no condiments. I also ordered fries and got cold fries (these I started eating as I drove) if I hadn't been driving somewhere, I would have noticed the burger before I left, but I was already gone before I found out about the mistake.
