So, no PPE masks when I walked in or as they are cooking. Also, no gloves. Boo!!! Counter help did put mask on after a while. But, too long. They use tables pushed up against the counter as a barrier to get socially distanced. Uh.. no... not good enough. More than a little tough to reach the counter to pay or get my food. Not customer friendly. Staff was just ok during transaction, but less friendly than should be.. Food, not the best, but above average. Egg Foo Young was tasty and not too oil saturated, but crispy noodles for soup were old and tasted like old oil. Egg roll was good. Bone in BBQ ribs were good, but needed .ore sauce. Hot and sour soup was average. It was a Sunday evening after Christmas, so no dinner rush. So decent, but the lazy approach to PPE was...

In the area here, No one can beat the taste and quality Shans will provide in all dishes and sides they offer. Ive been eating the American version of Chinese food take out all my life and have gotten it from every place in whatever area I've lived in to find the best every time and order from when I want it. Shans is it for this area and surrounding within a 15+ mile radius. Goahead and get delivery elsewhere if you insist on delivery but be advised, if you are able to make the trip off your couch or office chair to go and pick up from Shans and back It would certainly have been far more worth...

Definitely a hole in the wall spot. They normally say those are the best, but I was slightly disappointed. Over the weekend I ordered: chicken lomein, honey walnut prawns, fried chicken, and fries. Had 20 minutes to make it home and our fries were soggy. Noticed there wasn't a cut in the cover to prevent that from happening. My honey walnut prawns were smothered in sauce to where it didn't look appetizing. It was like they didn't want to waste the sauce, so they dumped everything inside the container.
