Exact same food, portion, etc. I will not be returning. --------- Able to serve quality food to an extremely large quantity of people unbelievably quickly. You choose your pasta and sauce, grab actual silverware, and choose a glass of ice water with or without lemon from the dozens of glasses at the ready. You are given a number tag on a stick. Before you can select a table and get sat down, a waiter is carrying your food out and looking for your number tag. Very convenient that you don't have to carry plate of pasta through crowded restaurant! And the service is just that fast. Food was fantastic. Portions are very large and most items...

I go here as often as possible... have for many years. Consistently, always, so super yummy. Great folks who do it right. Italy's got nothin' on the chicken green olive or ricotta spinach. Basil's makes it fresh and quick for lunch... perfect every time. The salads are super. I'm a fan for life. Great value too... a gem in the heart of Des Moines. Thank you for staying and expanding......

This is my go-to for lunch when I work at Capital Square! I love the pizza-by-the-slice option and their daily pizza specials are awesome. Pro tip– ask for the slices well done.
