Deep End Dive Bar — Restaurant in Des Moines

Been to every bar on the east side and am a regular at the wicked rabbit on the south side..went in here today had my ID ready..bartender looked at it said it looked nothing like me.. the picture on my ID is from 2015 and I have a shaved head on it but I tried showing a second form of ID with the same name which was my health insurance card. My sister and I decided we needed a late night drink to end the night and Miss Mary behind the bar was so accommodating and so nice and made us such a wonderful drink we never had before it called orange peel which was delightful fruity and perfectly strong! Highly recommend for the people that was there that was so nice pleasant and outgoing and the bartender who was very accommodating and just the right balance of people drinks...

This place used to be cool when it was known as the brewhouse now it's a family bar, meaning your allowed one drink once you're done if you ain't family you ain't welcome.
