I came here for my birthday brunch with my friends, we’ve been here many times before and came at 8 am because we knew it gets busy and fills up fast so we wanted to make sure we got a table. The server brought us all our tabs within only minutes of receiving our food and checked multiple times if we paid yet and once we did she quickly took our payments and gave them back to us all within less than 30 mins. Again this was my birthday brunch with my friends who aren’t able to see each other often so we wanted time to have a nice breakfast and catch up. Once we were done eating we had been there about an hour, the restaurant got busy and the server & who I’m assuming the manager asked us what felt like 10 times if they could get us anything else making us feel rushed and making it like obvious they wanted us to leave to flip the table for someone else. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry as well and never made my customers feel this way they kept looking over at us and talking just overall became awkward and uncomfortable. We were there almost barely 2 hrs before the manager came over and asked if she could move us to the bar which was also full because they have people waiting and a 2 hr wait time… okay and? Because I planned accordingly to come early to have time to enjoy brunch and catch up with friends and you got busy and can’t accommodate the rush we now have to leave when we haven’t even been there for 2 hours? Idk if I’m being crazy but mind you the manager and server weren’t nice about it either and made us seem like we were inconveniencing them. I found it very rude and never been to a restaurant where I was asked to leave because of their wait time or as someone who’s worked in the restaurant industry never asked a table to leave because I felt they were there too long. Homegrown was one of our fav breakfast place but not anymore. If I knew we had a time limit I would’ve chosen another place to go that I could take time to enjoy my breakfast and catching up for my Birthday. So long story short don’t come here if you don’t want to be rushed out and asked to leave because you were there less than 2 hours. Seriously never been asked to leave somewhere because of their wait I wish I could take my tip and business back because they didn’t deserve...
Read moreI just placed a door dash order and left a review but I for the first time don’t feel like it’s enough. Where to start I got the traditional Benedict, the give me the meats omelet a side of bacon, a home made pop tart, the fresh squeezed orange juice, and a Carmel latte. For starters the traditional Benedict came with the hollandaise sauce on the side, I didn’t even regular this just looked it up and thought this sounded good so why not but you guys took the extra effort to put it in a cup anyway just in case someone didn’t like it and to not ruin the quality of the Benedict which don’t even get me started on how absolutely amazing it was everything was cooked perfectly, same thing with my omelette it’s the first time I’ve ordered a omelet and not got a pile of egg with barely any ingredients you guys LOADED it absolutely amazing. Then for my side I ordered a English muffin and again without even asking you guys went ahead and included a side of jelly something I was prepared to have to add my self but again you guys over exceeded expectations. Then there’s the orange juice. I don’t know how you managed to make fresh squeezed orange juice taste so good it still has the fresh orange taste like it’s tapped directly in to a orange but with just the right amount of sweetness adde to offset the bitter. I haven’t even managed to get to my pop tart yet but I can already tell just by looking at it visually it to is going to be absolutely amazing and after I try it I imagine I’ll be wanting to come back and write a whole separate review just for it. I know people are quick to post bad reviews and not enough people take the time to give the good places the credit the deserve. You guys absolutely did that. I will easily recommend this place to all my family and friends and am now a loyal customer. THANKS FOR...
