Toured with a small group and found the docent to be very knowledgeable and helpful and willing to look up info on questions she didn't know offhand. The home is beautiful and although the tour is short, it's well worth it. Lots of unique history behind this governor's mansion!

Our tour guide Arnie did a very good job. It is a beautiful home that Iowa is lucky to have as its governor mansion. Reservations are a must. Great value for the money

Tea and Talk is a program at Terrace Hill with information on different topics and then a light afternoon tea party. It is so much fun and the tea is yummy!

This place is a must see if in Des Moines or just in Iowa. This is the Governor Mansion. Very beautiful.
