Overrall fairly good experience. Stepping in it was pretty busy for what I expected but there were seats available. We were sat down within 1 minute and were helped within 5. I ordered "The Big One" with fries and a red birch beer. I will say I was disappointed to hear that they got rid of they're curly fries, but I hadn't been there in a while, so whatever. My partner got the "Jakes Something" with fries and a birch beer. Both of us enjoyed our meal. The burger was just about perfect and the grilled onions on top were perfect (and I mean perfect). The fries were also very good. Definitely fresh and hot. The only thing that got me was the price, especially since the serving size was fairly small (in my opinion at least) so I can't justify going to much. The whole store decor was very good too. As soon as the order was placed, someone asked that a pot pie crust be made. Several minutes later, an aluminum dish got three scoops of chicken filling from what looked like a soup warmer, and the crust was placed on top. Then the plastic cover to the dish. It was more like having a slightly thick chicken soup served with a separately prepared crust, which was soggy from being placed over the mixture. Definitely not worth the $19 price tag. And definitely not a chicken pot pie, which is baked.
Someone from Lachele’s contacted my wife, agreed that what we received was not a pot pie, and refunded us the cost of our meal. Appreciate Lachele’s making...
Read moreThe BEST sandwich I’ve ever had. Not exaggerating. I got the Mushroom Schnitz. 100% will be back. 100% will be thinking of this sandwich. I initially gave 4 stars for atmosphere only because our chairs were a little wonky and we got dripped on from the pipes. But honestly, I don’t even care. I changed it to 5 stars because it was the best food experience I’ve had in a very long...
