Super friendly service!! This little restaurant is tucked off and usually the best places are on the road less traveled and most definitely is the case for Mariana's. I ordered the torta which wasn't the best a bit to much mayo could have used a little kick to it but it was ok. The tacos asada on the other hand were absolutely amazing wrapped in simplicity. It's hard to get such perfection out of a dish that is so simply and straight forward but Mariana's has most definitely succeeded. My husband ordered the enchiladas Rojas and also greatly enjoyed his meal. GREAT JOB GUYS KEEP IT UP!!!

Mariana's is my absolutely favorite Mexican restaurant. I have been going here since she was in the Drake neighborhood. I slowly worked my way through her menu, but some of my favorites are: Carna Asada, Steak Ranchero, Torta, Horchata, and of course her tacos. The decor reminds you of Mariana's home town San Sebastian and a lot of the furnature is actually from there. I have also taken various visitors from South America and they have always enjoyed the food there.

Every time we go between Indiana and Nebraska we would stop here and always had a great lunch until this last time. As always we got a order of pupusas but this time it came with a hidden nasty surprise. A piece is raw meat was stuck to the bottom of one of the pupusas which makes me believe the food ready for consumption must be prepared in the same expect spot where the raw meat is being cut. Do yourself a favor and avoid this stop or risk getting food poisoning

Walking through the door around 5pm, I get a penetrating whiff of old mop water, which I can tell has been used to clean the place. The server, unenthused, waved her hand saying "can choose to sit." The woman and I order our meal, waiting for Iowa to show us if Mexican food has any dignity here. I ordered the birria tacos, cant beat the price of $9 bucks. I also ordered Nachos and the woman ordered 3 types of street tacos. During the waiting period, I heard a microwave over yonder. One of the bad signs in any Mexican restaurant is hearing a microwave over in the kitchen. I ::gasped:: wanting to leave, but the food has arrived. Well... everything was okay, every plate we ordered was bland. They could do better. If you're budget conscious, this...

Great food! I've been going here since they were located across the street from platinum kuts, and they have the best tacos in town, along with burritos, gorditas, soups, guacamole... Pretty much their whole menu. I used to get tortas from a buss that isn't arround anymore, and Mariana's doesn't make them as good, but still 2nd place to the buss! Friendly service, great food! Once at their old location me and a few friends had all gotten a meal, but at that time they weren't taking debit cards, and none of us had cash. They shrugged it off and said to pay next time we come! Mariana's deserves the positive reviews, it reflects the service and food they have...

$1 Tacos on Thursdays. I hate they get as much traffic as they do, with decent tacos and yet they can't seem to open they're doors at the time they have PRINTED ON their door! If you think you can beat the slow service but calling in a to go order, good luck. I've called and still had to wait as if I'd just ordered at the register. They are "impartial" to say the least and would do well to freshen up their menus or just wipe down the ones they have as they are laminated. Plus they charge for almost everything with a can soda being $1.50 but the glass bottles being $1 (probably beacuse it's actually less in...
