Go Loco Street Tacos & Burritos — Restaurant in DeSoto

This place has great food but with the inconsistent prices is the issue. I went there today to buy 2 nachos and two tacos. It started off wrong when I had to ask for a decent amount of chips and cheese (a hand full of chips on $9 nachos isn’t decent). Next on one order I asked for beans on the side instead of on the chips as I’ve done several times before. I was told that refried beans on the side is extra but if I get it on the nachos it’s free. One of the employees goes to the length to say it isn’t included until I say “there’s a sign over our head that says it included”. I get “oh well it shouldn’t be there; it’s extra.” I then get different prices for a side of cheese; it’s been $1.75 for a small today it’s $3; I even hear another employee say “what’s this for $1.75”. I ended up cancelling the entire order and going to chipotle where it’s not extra to get items on the side and the prices for a side of cheese is decent and doesn’t change. I feel sorry for the server as this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered inconsistent prices or having to ask for decent amounts of chips and cheese; a employee before informed me the manager watched a video with her and made her pay for each order she didn’t give correct amounts on or lose her job. I advise to avoid this place until management and employees are consistent on prices and do right...

First time was great enough to come back. Second time, which was today, HORRIBLE. I came when it was slow and the two employees there looked as if they did absolutely nothing all day but talk. One staff member had the ugliest attitude I've seen in quite awhile. I'm not sure if she was ready to go home or what but I felt like I was there to serve HER great customer service skills smh and buy my 14 dollar plate at the same time I guess. The toppings on the bar were all over the place falling into eachother. Very messy. The gaucomole looked old. When I bit into my first corn taco, the taco started to fall apart because they were serving old tortillas. The prices at this location (DeSoto) went up alot as well but my tacos weren't worth the price at all this time. This experience was just a hot mess overall and I WILL NOT be going back. I would have asked for a refund but I drove a long way hoping for good customer service and quality tacos. Got neither...

I wanna start by saying I didn’t wanna give a 1 star but I need this to be known; I went in there 10/12/2024 around 9:20 pm. I haven’t ever had a problem with this place till now. The food is great, but my problem is with the service. I got denied a small styrofoam for my rice, and told she couldn’t do it, because she didn’t wanna do it. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but I haven’t ever had a problem with it in the past and now all of a sudden it’s a problem. What if the customer wants more room to melt cheese on their rice, was that ever a thought, and it’s not like I was asking for more than what I paid for; I just prefer the container for my rice versus the small side container they give because it leave room for cheese to melt once I get home and it’s easier to mix up. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again, because I’ll stop supporting this place even though it good just because they can’t give...
