If I could... I’d rate this place a negative 0 🤬🤬 This establishment is truly sad! I have been going to this place since they opened. I believe they may have changed ownership a few times and even with the price increase, I continued to go there because I like the food. The customer service has always been a little iffy but the food is generally pretty good. I decided to go in today, although I was just there last week🙄 and I placed my order, I decided to change my order when the manager told me that I couldn’t and even took it a step further to tell me to call the police if I had a problem...I am no confrontational person and refused to go there with the lady, clearly this type of behavior is how she conducts business.. I couldn’t believe she would have even let something like that come out of her mouth for one, being manager and business owner of a place that 90% of the revenue is from black people, hence the reason it being established in a black community. I’m not racist by far!In fact... I love all walks of life and dare not hate of how the next person makes there dividends by all means.... but Hell! Stevie Wonder can see what’s going on here! BEWARE OF ANY PLACE WITH NO REFUND SIGNS!!!! Food was slop! They know it's slop!!! This food is nasty! Everyone works so hard for their money. Please go somewhere else. Please!!! The morning after eating it my daughter was sick the entire day vomiting from seafood poisoning. They're serving old expired rotting food. The crab legs were soggy, and mushy textured ( EXTREMELY OVERCOOKED)The potatoes were soggy and everything tasted old. The smell was disgusting. We were only able to consume a very tiny amount of the food because it was so bad! My daughter became ill after swallowing a few bites only! My parents initially spent $140+ on their food and invited me and my daughter to enjoy it with them. When I arrived at their home they immediately began to apologize to me as the food was so terrible none of them could eat it! My daughter is the last one who tried it! It was terrible! My daughter insisted on trying some because she loves seafood and couldn't believe that it could be as bad as her grandparents were warning her. Don’t do it! I’m disabled and I sent my home health care worker to get us something for lunch. She saw this place and ordered shrimp and fish combo for us. She brought it back, we opened the containers and no shrimp! Two skinny fish fillets, undercooked (gross) and some of the greasiest okra (I could literally squeeze the grease out). Called them and told them about the shrimp. The girl (Naidelyn) was extremely rude. Said we would have to bring the food back in so she could check the containers (is that even legal?). When we got there only this female and one cook were there. Even after the cook admitted he forgot the shrimp she wanted to take the containers to the back to go through them! What?!! I don’t think so! We had to pick through our containers to show her there was no shrimp. We asked to speak to a manager and also get corporates number and she stated “you can talk to me!”. When we got the food back and complained that it was now cold she said “well, your shrimp is hot”. If you’re wondering why we didn’t walk out and leave it there it’s because each of our orders cost $16.99 apiece without drinks and when we substituted French fries for okra they charged an extra dollar which they didn’t tell us about until we had already paid.
