I visited Chicken Shack on Mack Avenue in Detroit recently, and I'm extremely disappointed by the experience. Despite the supposed convenience of an automated ordering and payment system, the service was painfully slow. To make matters worse, on a previous visit, I had to return because my chicken was undercooked. I decided to give them another chance, but to my dismay, the service was just as slow as before.
As I waited in the lobby, I watched my order sit on the counter for an unacceptable amount of time. When someone finally bothered to address me, it was only to ask for the last 4 digits of my number. The lack of care and attention from the employees was blatantly obvious, and it's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them.
This kind of disregard for basic food safety standards and customer service is completely unacceptable. It's evident that the employees at this location lack a fundamental level of professionalism and care for their customers. I was left feeling frustrated and disrespected by the entire experience.
I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and makes significant improvements to the service and food quality at Chicken Shack on Mack Avenue. It's essential for them to address these issues promptly to prevent further negative experiences for other customers in the future. Thank you for allowing me to share...
Read moreBy this being a franchise i cant down the business as a whole but if you do decide to eat here please dont go to the one on mack and alter rd...I clearly let the guy at the front know that I was a first time customer , so you would think they would try their best to make sure I had a pleasurable experience but it was awful...the chicken was old and tasted like it was just dunked in grease and reheated but the worst part was my box was filled with grease ..there was no paper or foil in the tray to kinda catch the grease the chicken was just thrown into my container...I wish I took pics because it was enough grease in my box to fill a small jar and I promise this is no exaggeration...then to top it off they tied my can pop up in the bag with my food and the can had piles of grease on it from all the grease that leaked from the container into the bag...also when I first walked in others were complaining about the wait and getting the wrong order which should've made me exit then , but I believe in giving every place a fair chance and using my own judgement...this...
