Having been by this place on several occasions, I had to stop in to find out what this place was like. On the outside, this place looks like a dive bar and a bit of a dump. On the inside though, well, it is a dive bar...but by far a dump. And it's a really cool dive bar with an excellent atmosphere and a pretty large selection of beer. This is the kind of place where you could spend a night getting drunk and have a good time. Read moreBeer selection is great - Much wider and deeper on the European choices (Belgians/Germans) than anywhere else I've seen locally and this is primarily what keeps us coming back, but the old-style wood room and the laid back atmosphere are great too. You could say divey or hipster, but also all-inclusive. Usually good more-modern indie music playlist which is appreciated. Chris was a great bartender but I think he's unfortunately moved on, will be missed. Spacious covered patio out back is good for smokers & has some fun games (cornhole, connect4, etc). Read moreNo score for food because I didn't eat. Overall I came here for my buddy's B-day. It's supposed to be very dog friendly. Beer list is VERY impressive, I saw favs from Germany to Belgium and the right glasses. I'm on detox so I was happy to get an orange juice and they gave another friend a non (or maybe low) alco bev. It's made for convention. Music was great, kinda emo nu-wave British rock. Finally they have a heated porch, right now in Michigan that's golden! Will have to come back...
