Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Detroit

Purposely came to Detroit to visit family and do some things usually when I come around the corner from my sister's house it's Church's Chicken I'm saying that the name has a site change in it now looks like the new name based on what comes up here to do this review is churches Texas Chicken I've given five stars across the board when I've been there before and even left comments because of the courteous friendly service however this time I'm giving five stars across the board until I get to atmosphere and I have to be honest I'm giving a one star The lobby was closed at a perfectly good business hour headed into dinner which force everyone to the drive-thru and there is a wait thank God it was only about 20 minutes In a single lane drive-thru not the best situation other than that the Young man that took my order over the speaker and then at the window was the same one that I had spoken to he did an extra job with customer service repeated the order right at the speaker and then again at the window to me he's a five star The one star reflects no access to the building to walk in and order food or even use the restroom and my order might have been much larger I was visiting family and wanted to take food At any rate next time hopefully the lobby...

Today, 5/23 I visited the Church’s Chicken on 8 mile and Schafer because my power went out in my home. I ordered a 3 piece and a 2 piece mixed meal with fries and okra through the drive through. When I pulled to the window, I asked the cashier if the food was hot because I had to return an order on a previous visit months ago. He assured me that it was. Upon checking my order before leaving the establishment, I found that it was barely warm like it had been sitting for some time. I returned to the window and asked if I could wait for some hot food. The cashier dragged to the door with an attitude and took my order back. After waiting for about 5 minutes, he came back with the same chicken that I returned. I had bitten into a piece, so that’s how I knew and secondly, isn’t that unsanitary to reheat food that was eaten from?

It cost $10 for a 3 piece and $9.00 for a 2 piece. You get 2 dark and 1 white for $10.00!!!??? It’s an additional charge for 2 white. That is too much to pay for this type of...

I haven't had any chicken from here since they had burned down and during the covet I wasn't eating any greasy fried food but I had a taste for it and I waited in the line every bit of 35 minutes only to get up and be told that they didn't have any wings left as if there weren't any more in the store however they hadn't cooked anymore and there was still another long line behind me so I have a problem with them not knowing and dropping what they knew that they would need on a Tuesday when everybody is getting specials and everything and then I was asked to pull around front I wasn't offered a drink a fry on the house or even for my jalapeno bombers to be given as a courtesy for me having to wait another 15 minutes for the wings that I wanted I think it's very inconsiderate but you know that's what you do when You got a line all the way out to the street to Schaefer highway so it doesn't matter if one person Is unhappy is very interesting how customer service is...
