The sweets he's slingin' keep the customers coming back for more, and the women working the counter make a mean, mean cup of coffee. This place has it all. Bomb fritters? You got it. Perfect sugared raised donut? Check. Local ownership? Bingo. No hipsters? No problem. Old-fashioned counter top sliced right outta history? Boom. I'm have the pleasure of trying most of the donuts offered at this southwest Detroit spot, and I can say with confidence the place doesn't make a bad donut. Low prices, too. It's a great neighborhood joint with a legacy of giving people the caffeine and sugar they need to get through their day. And make sure you swing by for paczki day, too.
