Mi Lindo San Blas Detroit — Restaurant in Detroit

Someone recommended this place to me because my favorite Mexican restaurant took one of my favorite dishes off the menu. Once I walked through the door I was excited at the menu but that ended quickly. We waited about 8 minutes to be seated in a completely empty restaurant. Once we sat down we had a waitress that didn't speak English which was no issue but they changed to one that did and she took forever to come. My wife is a vegetarian so she asked if she could just get cheese on the Quesadilla or add veggies. They said no only what's on the menu even though it says you can choose your own meat (so how is no meat not an option). Once again service was very slow in an empty restaurant (another family came towards the end of our meal). I had hope that the food would heal all buy sadly no. The food wasn't good, the mango drink I ordered was clearly watered down, the fish in my soup tasted very strange. The only thing that was good was the Churro my son ordered to go. Our meal came out to around $70, that felt like a $20-30 meal (mind you my wife didn't order anything). From what I read from other reviews there is a 15% tip added to your bill and we still tipped. Even my son (who likes everything) was disappointed. Sometimes I feel like I might have just went on a bad day but not this time. We will never go back to this place to eat. I'll probably just order my son a Churro to go because that was the one saving grace. I'm not sure why but it felt like we were being treated very bad from the moment...

The service was the worse ever! We went for a birthday dinner & the waitress was very unprofessional! We didn’t have a table let alone our menus & she wanted us to place our orders after we told her we were dining in. She rushed us for our orders while we were deciding what to get she was talking over us asking what we wanted. After we finally ordered & got our food (which we didn’t even get right) she didn’t ask if we needed anything or never came to check on us. We finally asked another waitress if she could take over so we could get what we needed which she did for a bit. We drove an hour away to get the worse service ever! Very upsetting! To top it off she gets a $50 tip due to the fact that the restaurant already adds 15% tip to the bill & plus what we left on the table. Smart move guys! I was so upset I just wanted to rush out the restaurant I didn’t pay attention to that till we were out the door. I’m definitely not recommending...

This was my first time here as I was invited by a friend. The dishes I ordered were fine. I was missing a component of one of my dishes, but left it alone. My friends who come often were extremely dissatisfied with the quality of their meals, however. They are regular customers and were shocked at the quality of their food and service. I ordered an alcoholic beverage and was not offered any water or anything else to drink my entire stay. It was really hard to try and request things as our server was hardly around. Unfortunately, my friends who invited me to this establishment mention they may not return as this was the worst they've ever experienced here. Again, the food that I ordered was fine as I ordered on the safe side and didn't get anything to exotic.

Lastly, the establishment was not very clean. The floors Were dirty and when I took a wipe to clean my table, it was dirty which was...
