We went there for our 35th anniversary dinner after seeing Carolyn Crawford from Chanel 7News coverage. Nice place. decoration reminded us of being at Cancun. Tiki bar, DJ boot (no DJ while we were there). Liked the music. We ordered several dishes to try. My wife's strawberry daiquiri had to be corrected to taste the strawberry. Secondly, Guacamole was not made properly, had to request to correct it (needed onions, tomatoes, cilantro, lemon juice, salt and pepper. and mixed properly). And when it came back, still was not similar to Uncle Julio's guacamole. Chicken taco plate was blend, and it did not come with salsa or sauce. They did bring out the chips and salsa. By the way, salsa was in a very small sauce plate. You can ask for refill only once. Just pay 2 dollars for a second refill. This is the first mexican restaurant that we have been to charge to refill a salsa. We decided not to get it. I think the management needs to reevaluate that policy. I had shrimp, chicken, beef, cheese fajitas. It came with four tortillas. No sauce. I likes the flavor of beef and chicken. But their scrimp did not have any taste. Or it was too weak, and the flavor just did not come out right. Beer was okay since it was in a bottle. Server was very nice, and friendly. However, server was a bit slow to bring our water and an extra class for my beer. No big deal, but just my evaluation. We will not go back for food, but the club atmosphere could prompt us to return. Make sure I'm clear, we will not return to...
Read moreFood was ok. The cocktail shrimp had no flavor at all to it. It was water down; no tomato spicy at all. The shrimp was not cleaned!! I was really upset seeing shrimp vein and poo in the shrimp. Sent it back, and decided on just taco. Who can screw up taco's. Apparently they can. My taco's had two tablespoons of pinto beans, hardly any meat, and no onion, no tomatoes or cilantro. The salsa was just as bad, no flavor at all. No chips were given on table. The girl actually took the one tostada shells out of the bag, broke them in half and put it on a small dish. Which are the cheap brand from Guerrero, they uses cheap oil and makes the tostada shell taste like cardboard. The menu photos where good. But the food was terrible. no flavor. Music was too loud and ask the waitress to turn it down a little she said she did not know how. I ask her to ask the manager but she ignored m. I was better off getting the food from a food truck. Only positive thing they have a live band. Other than that the waitress staff needs to be trained in how to serve customers. They...
Read moreThis is the first time I have ever written a review for anywhere, but, if you like seafood, let me just say, this place is AMAZING! My co-workers took me here a few weeks ago for my retirement, and I was somwhat leary because I am NOT a spice person, I don't even like black pepper. But, OMG! From my drinks (Best Margaritas I have ever had) to all the different foods, the flavors were outstanding, and for my food, not once did I have to drink any water to stop the burning, or send it back because it was spicy! So, if you are looking for a change from that big seafood place we all know, stop by here, you will be treated well by the staff, and will enjoy some awesome...
