Read moreThe service was great. They do have a public restroom. Which was also clean and I'm now switching to the hand soap they use which is Arm & Hammer they had two options as well. I used the tropical Mango. But on to the food I ordered the full rack of lamb ribs with macaroni, the salmon over rice with veggies, two philly steak egg rolls, and one corned beef egg roll. Now nothing tasted bad but more so everything was mediocre as far as taste wise. This wasn't a bad experience for me because the textures were above average. The lamb ribs were fall off the the bone, fat melts in your mouth but for me it wasn't seasoned enough and the barbecue flavor wasn't strong enough. The salmon was a bit dry and also wasn't very flavorful, the rice was great texture wise but it also wasn't flavored, the veggies we're fresh. Onto the egg rolls the corned beef one was dry and but still crunchy and crispy. I didn't enjoy eating it but was more so chewing to get rid of it. Now the Philly steak one was very good it was moist and cheesy it only had the flavor of the Philly steak not any specifically seasons but it was also good. My husband said he would have gave the restaurant a three out of 10. But I have been Inspired to learn how to cook lamb ribs cuz I do enjoy the taste of the lamb ribs unfortunately it wasn't seasoned or richly flavored like I'm used to for someone that's not used to strong seasonings this would have been like a 8 out of 10 experience. Nothing's wrong with this restaurants but the cost for the enjoyment that I got out of it wasn't enough for me. I paid $62 nearly $63 for all that I mentioned and only really enjoyed the texture and not the flavor. It was even lacking in the flavoring of salt and pepper. I don't think I'll be eating here again. I had to go out of my way to get this and the things that I wanted from there I have tried and wouldn't buy them again. Also from what I noticed I don't think it's a sit down restaurant. I think I noticed one seating area while I was walking to...
Read moreI saw them on my fyp on Tiktok and so I stopped in... such nice customer service from both gentlemen, there was a few customers waiting/Ordering, it was Friday night around 730pm, they had a small hot food case that had different samosas....yall the beef and chicken were đĽ đĽ served with a avocado ranch type dip, fr very, very good 3 for $5... I keep thinking bout the beef ones....then I ordered the bbq beef brisket bowl with rice...$18.99 and it came with yellow rice, like 8 ounces of bbq brisket, and a small mixed ranch, tomato, cucumber, onion, lettuce salad on the side...this meat yall was SO SO SO good! So juicy, moist and just awesome! I ate 2 of 3 Samosas while waiting for my hot food to be prepared. I will never mind waiting for fresh food! In most of there tiktok reviews they're known for their lamb chops and lamb shank, I will try that next! I grabbed a blue raspberry mango Lemonade from the little refrigerator, they have that has a variety of drinks and dessert options. This location is a hidden gem. I think there use to be one located in Troy (I may be wrong) but not near the same quality. I had to come back and edit that, they're open until 2am and also all there food is halal. Two great things! đ Chrck this place out, you definitely won't be disappointed!
Edit: This location is not affiliated with any other NYC Halal Eats Locations, owner did confirm and clarify! This was not a paid review, I am a local guide who loves food, also I own a bakery in Troy and admire trying new foods and resturants all around michigan! Definitely a hidden gem location! Will be back ASAP, still thinking of those hot and spicy delicious beef samosas! Wish you much Luck and Success and with this type of service and food, you will go very far! Thank you...
