Sky Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Detroit

I go often on Sundays. I think it's old school Sundays. Closes at midnight. Has a smoking section outside that's secure (fav part, but i don't smoke cigarettes 😉). Mirrors on entire dance floor. The music is for hustlers and steppers and old skool. I'm 44 and I felt like the music was for an older crowd. I didn't grow up with step in the name of love, it was MC Hammer and SirMixaLot for me. I wanted something more upbeat from the DJ. But my mom would've loved this DJ.

The atmosphere is nice, though. Plus the affordable drinks. They're not strong drinks, however. I never ordered food before. Idk if they have food. Bathrooms decent because the patrons are decent. But i never seen them tend to the bathroom all night. I assume if it gets bad, you on your own. No one available to clean. It's gotten close to bad the later it gets. The DJ this past Sunday was the worst to me. Usually there's a nice mix of old school, not just slow jams and hustling all night. I just wanted to pop a little. I usually can when I go, but this time, idk what happened.

$10 parking across the street at the closed gas station that has security. Or free parking on the street. Security is outside on both ends of the buildings watching the cars. Amazing!

My experience at sky bar in Detroit is always magnificent especially on every Sunday nights for oldschool back in the day music like the dramatics, stylistics and my favorite group the delfonics, I love goin to sky bar because everybody that works there is very pleasant and extremely friendly also all there security guards are always walking me to my car , I rate the sky bar in Detroit 744% and my employees from Detroit metropolitan airport in Romulus rates sky bar 2733%, godbless your staff and management and there disc jockeys there are rated...

Security and staff were rude, the security didn’t know how to communicate professionally with customers, the bartenders were rude when we did receive service the bartender with the blond hair basically told us to hurry up and order our drinks before she leave, before that bartender came to provide us rude service there were two bartenders working and when we were trying to get their attention for service they looked at us and rolled their eyes it’s so sad that our people treat one another with so much disrespect you paying to enter a place to be...
