The Warren Cafe — Restaurant in Detroit

My first time at the Warren Cafe was on Valentine’s Day and it was such a vibe! I went for a nightcap after yoga class and walked in to a whole experience! It’s a small, cozy place with good energy! The hospitality from Rachel, Kevin and Rhea was top tier! Kevin made a bangin’ Blueberry Martini(s), so good! They had good music, games and they fed us too (thank you)! I think they also had speed dating! It was a diverse crowd with everyone enjoying themselves and having fun! Met Kevin and Rachel at the Old Miami one night and they were just a really nice couple with great energy. I had no idea they owned this soon to be Gem in the city/Detroit. Relaxed and welcoming just like they are with top notch cocktail concoctions made with consistent attention to detail. Live entertainment with a DJ and Karaoke Host who made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Then to complete their recipe for success there is a Sushi Chef preparing hot dishes, Sushi, or combinations including Tempura Shrimp. What a welcome addition to the east side! Bonus it's in walking distance from my home, I'd go out of my way for this place even if it was downtown. Awesome vintage interior, dim lighting, great music, and a handful of excellent specialty cocktails. A true example of keeping it simple, but doing it very well. My only complaint is they're only open for the weekends right now...but I'll keep patronizing and spreading the good word until they're able to stay...
