El Pirata Mexican seafood — Restaurant in Diamond Bar

I was very disappointed and upset to have had my meal here today. We ordered 5 meals to go from here for our family, and usually their food has been great up until today. I had seen their menu of tacos , and by the pictures I saw the their asada tacos, and ordered 4. To my surprise as I opened the box at home and thought it was a joke!!! Each taco had two corn tortillas and no lie, a tablespoon worth of meat on each with about2 tablespoons of onion!!! WTH?? Each of these tacos I paid for $3.25!!!?? These tacos looked NOTHING like the picture on their online menu!!! Nor like ANYTHING they have ever served there!!! I was very upset!! If they had no more meat, why won’t they say hey were running low, you may want another kind of tacos?? But the fact they believed to those were worth 17.00 dollar tacos!!?? Me n my girl went here Wednesday night. There was no foot traffic and it was hard to find. No sign on building.

We got 2 shrimp cocktails. Great amount of shrimp and decent sauce, but its missing tomato sauce and onions are too big. But definitely worth it

We got a dozen oysters, huge oysters HUGE. They tasted great except 3. The 3 were fishy fishy and there was no ice on bottom of oysters.

Overall decent.

Won't go again though for seafood.

The molcajete is far away from that.....they use same salsa for the chip and they just put it on after they put everything on it.......the meat it was so dry.......no juice at all.....never came back......for the money is no worth it....go to Fonda don chon....Best food best service and cheaper than this......oh..... almost forgot....no...
